I don't agree with every point you have made.. but,, I will say this my opinion about intolerant religions was formed by living all my life among Christians. As I said before I don't embrace intolerant people in my inner circle. Does America really need 2 intolerant religions fighting for control of the sheep?

My point was this, I am sure Jerry may have an opinion of you that would also be insulting. We are debating, an exchange of ideas were we are free to disagree and state why. When you personally insult someone during a debate it becomes a fight. I know ES IRL, I know I can debate this subject with him and our opinions mat differ. I know he is not going to insult me or treat me with any less respect or warmth the next time we see one another.

I agree with you about it being a societal argument. My concerns with them do not revolve around my religious beliefs. I am not particularly religious, I find much wisdom in our Bible that helps me in my spiritual life. Some of my values are in line with the teachings, if I had to say I would claim to be most in line with Christianity. I am rather amused at those of us discussing this issue because I know us not to be very religious. Maybe I am mistaken, I though that their religion teaches intolerance of all those that are not of the their faith and basically dehumanizes non-Muslims. I am not much on accepting intolerant folks in my closest circle, having them converting Americans and immigrating here in large numbers makes me feel just a little out of control, which triggers fear in most people.

I am generally a very tolerant person. I tolerate peoples differences up to a point and that is the point that I feel that they may harm my family. At that point they are cut out of my life. No where does the constitution say that it should take precedence over common sense. This is a religion steeped in violence. I honestly don't mind them at all, just like the spray paint marks that last for a long time where they mark an accident they remind me to remain vigilant. Living all these years on a hwy that has way too many fatalities for the amount of traffic these things have often reminded me just how quickly a life can be lost through carelessness. Mayor Austin noticed the the water and the fountain was very dirty. It would seem that the contractor did not clean the fountain of the dust and dirt from the construction before they filled it. They had to empty and clean it to get paid.

What I find when I talk to woman about it is that they like the idea of looking well put together or even very stylish which Miche is. They then think about the closet full of bags they never use because they hate the hassle of changing bags.
