The trees are still in full leaf. If we get high winds a lot of trees will fall. I am going to prepare to be without electricity. I will hold off on buying anymore frozen foods until it's past.

Sarah Dowdy to serve 20 years in paulding teens death

Most of us drive an automobile every day. We know we are at risk. The days that go by that bad things don't happen we seldom think about the worse that can happen. I am living the reality today. Sitting in the hospital with my daughter. This is the second surgery to relieve the excruciating pain she has been in for 2 years. I know that family lost so much. My daughter will always be crippled, I am thankful she is alive. Such a waste of young lives. You see people that speed up to stop people from passing, those that never hit the brake when someone turns in front of them. It is not wo -
Your kidding right? You get your news from internet blog sites.

The OP can ask a moderator or Pubby to do it. I have had to ask for it to be done after someone quoted something that I messed up. especially like mistakes in a business post, or for a business member.
-
Shows how much I know about it. We would get checks but Pubby took care of that. I just don't think that that is a part you can get to without full administrative powers. I always had to find out from Pubby if businesses had paid. It was not something I could log into to find out. We are talking about the business/ money part. Nobody is stupid enough to let mods into their financials. I don't know how any mod would find a real name unless a person outed to them or was outed by someone else. Parts of the board are password protected. Just like being able to see a forum. If it is not turned on b

If one of you had accidentally exposed yourself through FB I would have pmed you immediately. I would have even messaged you on FB to get it down. You people have gotten too personal about this political debating.
-
I think that is a paypal thing. Pubby lets no one deal with paypal accounts it is totally different than admin stuff. If people think that Pubby is letting people other than himself deal with the financials they need to just leave p.com altogether. If you don't believe in that level of trust here then you don't need to be here. I worked with pubby at the same desk or the next one for years. Nobody approves memberships or sees paypal but him. What other boards do with that info might be different. You would need a warrant or subpoena to get that stuff from pubby.
-
Maybe other sites make you give all that personal information to register but p.com does not.
-
I had to use my email to register on here. I didn't have to give my real name. Some people have it as part of their email. The only time Pubby accesses email is when he approves people and that is for security for us. Only Pubby approves new members. Your real name is not on p.com unless you give it. If people are sensitive about IP they can use a program to change it. The ip is only important as far as phishing purposes it doesn't give anything away.
-
Why would the administration have any of your personal information here? Your profile is public on p.com for all to see.
-
You know more about this than I do and where you got that info I have no idea. I do know at least 2 people personally that have been accused of being Tbar that absolutely were not. The only person I ever knew for sure to be a mod was Johnny J. I was never involved with moderating. I am clueless about it. That was done by intent. I have never been moderated I have always tried not to break rules. We all know that Tbar had to be retired because of what happened. Pubby would have extended the same for any member being compromised that way, even you. I don't see how posting topics for debate are c

Can I ask why that is so important to people here? I see references to this all the time. I can only assume that some people want their privacy protected by P.com, but not the privacy of those they don't like. If I remember right, just after I came on board with p.com someone or group exposed Tbar and tried to ruin his business by showing people that might do not agree with his political beliefs his post here. I have not seen him say or do anything on here that would warrant trying to hurt a man's business. You have to be some kind of vindictive to do something like that over disagreements o

I remember some kind of rainbow cocoanut thing. I don't remember what it was called.

Look at the remark I just saw on social media during a live fundraising effort. Ken Herndon Why aren't Blacks getting on BLM, as BLM has been hindering and blocking relief efforts. Where does this crap come from He does not represent me. I hope the black people watching don't think he does. -

My guess would be the boatload of subsidies that people feel we have given to black Americans that have done nothing positive. The idea of throwing any more tax dollars at the problem is abhorrent to most. There is no mold. No size fits all. I have known many black and white people whose family used subsidies and gone on to be successful and never needed them again. I believe showing equal amounts of successful black people is a good place to start. I know you won't agree but having a black president is huge for young black people. It is one of the reasons that graduation rates went up. As a so -

I consider it sharing the blame. I don't think I have ever purposely done anything racist. I have recently faced many of my racist perceptions. There is a fatalist attitude in poor black communities. I don't want to be a hurdle that my black brothers and sisters have to jump to address it. As far as I am concerned BLM matter is a great cause and it brings awareness to the fact that it is not only some LE that have copped an attitude but the black on black crime is a huge problem. We have seen a fringe of violent people that act out in all the demonstrations. This is why I pay attention to the -

Are black people participating in more crime because they are black and predisposed to committing a crime? After all, you chose NY city as your example. Could it be cultural? -

I actually am aware of this. It probably stands true for many predominantly white small towns through out the USA. This is why I point out how the media runs to the inner city to portray black people in our country. The perception does not just affect how whites see blacks but how blacks see blacks. The violence problem of black on black can stem from the lack of value placed on blacks historically. The system does not value black lives as much as white lives. Many racist say just leave them alone and they will kill each other off. It is a much bigger deal when a black thug kills a white pers -

Maybe they are the majority caught committing the most non-violent crimes. I had a black teacher back in the 70's that shared a lot of black culture with me. She said that is kids they were brought up strictly in their homes. They were taught that they had to live above reproach because white people, especially white law enforcement were scrutinizing them for the smallest thing. That is pressure from cradle to grave. You walk the line or you go to jail. The resentment is real. They have never experienced validation for so much going back so far. These issues are going to bite this cou -

By allowing what he did to stand you create even worse relations and distrust in the black community. No community can afford that when a black man can't even get away with walking down the street with a little weed in his pocket. Is he breaking the law? yes. Are many young white men stopped walking down the street asking for ID and being checked for drugs? The perception that as a black person you are unfairly scrutinized is a problem because there is some truth in it. If there was a white star athlete on one of our high school football teams that were arrested and jailed for having a li -
I have 10 pets and a suburban. We would pack them up, put the luggage carrier on the roof and the tail gate and load it up. I also have a son who needs special meds that you can't just get from a pharmacy. I would call ahead to a pharmacy to have it shipped and we would head that way. Given time I would grab pics and my hard drive. This is what adults with a lot of responsibility do. That house has nothing you can't live without, you can't protect it from flood waters or high wind. Younger people tend to feel stronger, more capable and bullet proof. I have had too much bad happen beyond my

2 lives wasted. What is wrong with young people? They place no value on their own lives and the lives of others. Our society for whatever reason sees death as the ultimate solution for problems.

They are making a mess of my place already. We need to cut some trees down. It is getting harder and harder to keep up with the mess they make on the patio and pool deck year round. Grass won't grow in the back yard because the roots are so close to the top soil. I love trees and it hurts to cut them, but I am going to have to make a decision. When we built the house over 20 years ago I remember tagging the little 18 inch trees to stay. Now they are over 3ft around the yard is so shaded my vegetable garden won't produce for lack of sun. I still love them. I tell myself hubby and I need t
