Considering that I eat one bowl of snow cream about every 7 years, I think I'll be okay. We just had a little -- brings back nice memories of childhood.

Here's my mom's recipe: Cynthia's Snow Ice Cream 3/4 cup sugar 2 cups milk 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring Mix above ingredients then add enough snow to thicken to desired texture. USE LARGE MIXING BOWL. If amount of snow is limited, start with less milk and sugar. The first time I wrote this down was on January 18, 1977. Here's the recipe from a radio station we listened to when I was a kid WSLI Radio snow cream Recipe 1 small can Evap milk (not sweeten condensed, like for lemon icebox pies) 1/2 can of water 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring 1/2 cup sugar Add

I edited my post - I meant that response as "tongue in cheek" as it was a reference to a common complaint about me. It was intended for humor, not as a real dig.

Typical. (P.S. For the record, that response is tongue-in-cheek.)

Have you never had homemade snow ice cream? That, my friend, is sad indeed. Where's that vanilla extract...

Just put a big bowl and some cookie sheets out on the deck to try to catch enough snow to make some snow ice cream.

N is great and the kids love her, but she lives a long way away! If we get home late, I really would like to avoid driving all the way to her house and back! So I'm looking for an alternate solution for this weekend. -

First, the producer will probably evaluate your materials and maybe do a phone interview. Next step would be a meeting with producers in Atlanta on 2/20 which would include some preliminary taping to be reviewed/evaluated. If you pass through to the show, that will be taped on 3/6. (While I'm in Vienna, which of course makes me but also ) They are not looking for bands, but it could be an act that uses more than one person. I think the "America's Got Talent" genre is kind of what they're thinking. Something you can do on a stage in front of a huge crowd - singing, dancing, come -

Whatcha Hav'N for LUNCH on this CHILLY Day?
joemturner replied to Caped Crusader's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Mrs. JMT and I stopped by The Old Mill in Acworth for an early lunch on our way down to the mall to pick up something for her birthday. I recently won a $10 gift certificate at a West Cobb Business Association meeting and figured today was a great day to take my wife to lunch. We both had the Old Mill Steak Sandwich and a cup of soup -- today it was a fantastic crab bisque. The restaurant was a little chilly but the food was hot and delicious. The crab soup had a nice, pleasant kick to it and was excellent. All washed down with sweet tea. Total (including >20% tip on the origina -
