  1. That is amazing! The guitar is bigger than she is! WOW!
  2. The hands always give your age away, she's still beautiful though.
  3. I had never heard of her until you posted this. Thank you for littering my brain with nonsense!
  4. Wow, that's so incredibly sad. Makes ya wonder where he was going that it was THAT important, to risk all the lives involved, especially his own little boy. He's got to live with that forever...I'm glad your son is ok psd, God must have been watching over him that day. (end hijack, sorry)
  5. My prayers are with Joey's family and friends.
  6. Thank you for the great job fixing our mower again, Subby! We know our mower is a real pain & are thankful to have your help when it breaks. The price is very reasonable as well. We appreciate you!
  7. This is a good article about the NYPD that may help answer that question for you. It would be great if you took the time to read it, to get a more balanced perspective. http://www.city-journal.org/2010/eon0514hm.html
  8. I like to chop them up with a lil bell pepper and tomatoes and put them in pasta salad.
  9. Does anyone know who's favored to win this race? Is there somewhere I could find a county-wide poll? Thanks!
  10. They DO use it... to terrorize the slow bike riders!
  11. I think what he means is that Miley's (and many others) popularity is media-driven. She didn't "make it" in this biz on looks, personality or talent. She made it because of the money spent on promotion and advertisement. But you are right in that if the $$$ start falling off, then at some point the cost of promotion will outweigh the revenue and she will become a has-been at the tender age of 17.
  12. Ain't it the truth...people like Janis Joplin and Jim Croce and many others would never make it these days. It's all about looks, mot talent.
  13. I didn't like that, either. I can see why you would find that part somewhat offensive. Most people watching that hopefully realize that they are using the "officer as a hillbilly bumpkin" thing to make a point, but they could have used a more professional approach. I didn't make the video obviously, but I did post it here, so my apologies for that part of it.
  14. ut The video explains that, I guess you didn't watch it. Having at least a general idea about what your rights are is not ignorant. I don't know why you would find it so offensive.
  15. This is a good video for those who are unfamiliar or unsure about rights during police stops. Teens especially,
  16. You don't have to grovel, just be courteous. I'm curious, why are you sure that he won't show up?
  17. The system is not perfect. If these two morons win a bogus civil suit then so be it. As a taxpayer I would rather pay for that than pay for a cop's funeral. You think you have a constitutional right to assault a police officer? lol.
  18. Looks like a gun to me. I know that cops, like everyone else, are stretched thin these days but the cops in that particular area are working a very hostile environment and it seems like they should be riding double on patrol. This bad situation could have gotten a lot worse.
  19. I got hit at that exact same spot! The guy almost pushed my little van out in front of an 18 wheeler that was coming down 41, and my two kids were in the car, so I was pretty much flipping out mad, too! But the guy was just a kid & so pitiful that I couldn't stay mad at him. That was the third time I'd been hit in less than a year. That's why I drive a "tank" now. Glad you're alright, Subby!
