  1. YES, he was!!! I have been sitting here thinking about Jay. I have NEVER and I mean NEVER heard anyone who could quote the Bible by verse the way Jay could. He was not only a man of God, but was so interesting to listen to - he was AMAZING. And, Jay would often talk of his demons when he was younger and having been an alcoholic. He would tell stories about going out to his truck at lunch during a work day so he could get a drink. He was taken to a revival by a friend and sat on the back bench but literally ran to the alter when the invitation was given - HE WAS SAVED. He was supposed to have g
  2. Ahhhhhhhhh...........THANK YOU Girl!!!!
  3. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, I HATE to hear this!!! Jay was a Wonderful, Sweet man and a Wonderful Pastor. A TRUE man of God. Jay's brother is Pastor Ricky Bice at East Hiram Baptist Church.
  4. GOOD FOR YOU! Congratulations. Oh Honey, HUSH your mouth. You look great - and happy. As far as me - I have no choice but to be comfortable and content. I learned to accept MANY years ago that thanks to the Crumpton genes, I will NEVER be skinny again. With 36" of kidney's in my belly it wouldn't matter if I lost 60 lbs, I would NOT lose my huge stomach.............and I would be more miserable b/c I would look even MORE pregnant and get asked more often "when is your baby due" or "do you know what your baby is". GGEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZ - I understand there are 60+ year old women in
  5. Yes Mam, I am VERY Lucky AND Blessed!!! Even before I had my strokes he did most of the housework. (and a lot of the cooking!)
  6. I'll be more than happy to - or at least send DH over - after all he is who cleans the kitchen at my house.
  7. Hey, it is the thought that counts!!!!! We ended up with a change of plans anyway. The roast just did not sound all that good. So, we went to Little Caesars and got a pepperoni/hamburger pizza with an order of cheese sticks. YUMMM....just hit the spot. So, that leaves the roast or tomorrow night.
  8. I have my own roast, but if you will bring over some squash and a mater, I sure would be one happy woman.
  9. Does anyone know of a department store having a Clinique Bonus?? If anyone sees one, I sure would appreciate letting me know.
  10. Thank you! He really loves and appreciates his fans - especially the young ones. I know, I cannot wait to see her face either.
  11. THANKS. I will look/ask next time I buy shrimp. I have to be very careful with shrimp anyway.
  12. Okay, showing my ignorance again, but how do you know where the shrimp comes from? Is it posted on the package? What about fresh shrimp you buy in the seafood department by the pound? Thanks for educating me here.
  13. They have been running those commercials for several weeks now. Initially it was $1.99 and the last couple of weeks they lowered it to $.99. It is a great deal but in order to get the children in there, they have to get at least one parent paying full price. Great marketing.
  14. Okay call me ignorant. But, I have never given it much thought and "assumed" it did come from the US. That would be my thought process. THANKS.
  15. Last night we had chuck roast cooked in the crock pot. Think tonight we will have chopped roast in gravy on biscuits and maybe fry some taters & onions. Not up to putting out a lot of energy after the medical test today and this sounds good. WOW - THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!!! Enjoy some on my behalf.
  16. Make plans now to come out and join us on this special evening: July 25, 2009 7:00 PM Jalapeno Joes 4484 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy, #203 Hiram, GA I am sure you are asking, "What is so special about this date/evening?" WELL - besides you will be amazingly entertained by one of Paulding County's OWN and ORIGINAL Talents, Wade Lowman............. We will be celebrating the birthday of one of Wade's BIGGEST fans who also happens to be the DGD of a Dear CM here on p.com. (hint: Tona) Plus, Wade will be performing some new (and different style) music, including the so
  17. THANK YOU!!!! It was great meeting you, too. I am so glad you are pleased with your purchases - DH, too. I will try to remember to let ya know when I get new stuff in. I've gotta sell some things and make room before buying more. (Orders from the DH - as though I listen - LOL) But, with football season quickly approaching, hopefully I'll move some stuff while coming across some good deals all at that the same time. But, like I said, if there is anything specific you want, I'll keep my eye out especially for the AL hats since that is the same style AND TEAM the DH wears. That is the
  18. THANK YOU!!! I bought that necklace before I got sick when I found it on sale at Kohl's (I think) to wear with a specific dress. Something happened to the dress and then I got sick - hadn't given the necklace any thought and had never worn it - until a friend and I went shopping and bought that outfit for me to wear to Wade's Graduation Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. BINGO - I have the perfect necklace to go with it at home. LOL. BTW, you know I had not even looked at the black nightie - just got it b/c my friend got the pink one for her daughter and I said I'd get black one to go wit
  19. Local realtors can be of help. I have a friend with ReMax and she is all the time helping set people up with Realtors in different cities/states.
  20. I'm Baaaaccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkk!!! The Stress Test wasn't "that" bad. After reading a few comments on here about hating it I didn't have any idea what to expect, so although it was not the most comfortable test I've ever done, it was a pleasant surprise for it not to be so, so bad!! The worse part??? TWENTY FOUR HOURS WITHOUT MY SWEET TEA!!!!! (even if it is Sweet 'n Low) I am Southern through and through and HAVE to HAVE my tea!! They said if anything was abnormal when the doctor looked at it this evening, he would call either tonight or tomorrow. So far so good, no phone call!!! Life is
