  1. LOLOLOLOL!!!! Good One! I agree Paris is a stunningly BEAUTIFUL girl. But, I don't find Prince Michael attractive at all. Matter of fact when I saw him recently as a correspondent I my thoughts were that Paris got ALL the looks from the biological parents.
  2. Not the case with us. Uverse is much faster than Comcast was!!
  3. I called them this AM to take Krimson for her follow-up to her visit to the Emergency Vet late Saturday/early Sunday morning. But, the vet is out of the office until Wed.
  4. THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU! I have her an appointment with East Paulding Animal Hospital this afternoon.
  5. My daughter has this sign in her kitchen. And, believe me it belongs there and is SOOOO true!!!
  6. I know Uverse was not one of your options but after 10 years with Comcast we left them in September to go with AT&T and Uverse. We never had an issue with Comcast but the move was about the bottom dollar. We have always had TV, internet and phone with Comcast although we tried several times to drop the phone as we never use it. But, it was more extensive to "unbundle". We have more services (like being able to record more than 2 shows and having to watch one of those) with Uverse and are saving $80/month. Before having Comcast we had DirecTV but left them because we lost cable every t
  7. NOT AT ALL!! THANK YOU!!! I overlooked it.
  8. THANK YOU! YES, they are my "children with fur" and I love them all dearly. THANK YOU for the prayers and I will definitely update.
  9. THANK YOU all for the responses and recommendations. Our mini-dachshund who had 7 puppies two weeks ago today had thrown up a couple of times Saturday night that we attributed to having over eaten. But, then she was having difficulty walking. She would take a couple of steps and then her rear legs would not work and she would sit down. Scared us to death. And, knowing bow dachshunds tend to have problems with their spines was a concern. We went to the one on Thornton Road bc it was closer. As everyone has said they were GREAT! When we got there her temp was 109.3 and she was critical. Normal f
  10. Someone started a thread a few days ago asking for recommendations for a Vet. I cannot find the thread now. Can anyone help me locate it?? TIA.
  11. THANK YOU!!! Would the one in Marietta or the one Acworth/Woodstock be closest to Dallas????
  12. It is close to midnight Saturday night and I need an emergency vet. Any recommendations???
  13. One of my VERY FAVORITE songs of all time. I never tire of hearing it. Thanks for posting! I was visiting a cousin whose husband was stationed in Germany in 1978 and were at the Officers Club. They played "Sweet Home Alabama" and it never sounded to good!!
  14. I don't agree with that but the government can do whatever they please with anybody's money, even convicted felons.
  15. ME TOO!! The cousin of a friend in Alabama was killed by her husband and chopped up, placed in ziplock and garbage bags and put in a hole in the back yard and he built a concrete water fountain over her. For years the youngest daughter kept telling them her mommy was in the back yard but she was so young they dismissed it. The husband would not allow them to search the property and said his wife had run off with another man. When he sold the home the new owners allowed the law enforcement to search and her remains were found. He attempted to write the story from prison using a lady friend
  16. I just read the description to DD who is over visiting the puppies and we both said the same thing that we barely need one much less SEVEN kitchens!!!
  17. I read a comment a few hrs ago where TopChef referenced me, DD and my family and said he hoped we were doing well. (Or something to that effect) I didn't get a chance to answer and now the comment is no longer here but I will respond: We are doing great and are Blessed each and every day we wake to take a breath and our feet hit the floor!! In looking over this thread there appears to be several missing comments??
  18. Myrtle Beach, SC LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the area. I'm not so much a beach person as far as getting my toes in the sand but I LOVE to sit on a balcony and watch the ocean and the people. I would want an ocean front condo on the 5th floor on the South Side aka Surfside Beach. I wouldn't have to worry about missing my children because DS will not settle in Paulding County anyway and DD and the GRANDS will be visiting ALL the time. Closer to being reality I would love to move back to Cleburne County, AL. I may lay my head in Georgia but THAT is where my heart and home are.
  19. I agree 110% ~~ It would be GREAT to have a place with a make-your-own salad and soups. I love a good, cold salad.
  20. "The trial began in early January with the prosecution making quick work of its case, a seamless and largely chronological story laid out for jurors in simple detail: Arias is a murderer, a jilted lover who planned the attack on Alexander in a jealous rage. She stabbed and slashed him 27 times, slitting his throat and shooting him in the head in a final salvo of savagery." http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/news/2013/02/20/jodi-arias-details-brutal-murder-her-boyfriend/
  21. Who are you endorsing??? I need some work done on a couple of laptops but it is more complicated than having a virus.
  22. NOPE. Whenever I turn on a channel covering it I change the channel. I am a true crime addict and can't get enough of Investigation Discoveries but this case??? NOT interested!! The whole scenario is crazy. A girl stabs her boyfriend 27 times, shots him and almost decapitates him but it is self defense?!?!? And, then she goes and jumps in bed with her "other" boyfriend. Just not interested but it's good someone is enjoying it since it is getting so much media attention.
  23. Thanks for sharing. It sounds easy and something different from the typical meals we have for dinner. Gonna share it with some friends and family I think might like it, too. In this economy we gotta look out for each other - and cheap recipes.
  24. This is such a sad, sad story. I have kept up with Tripp's journey since the beginning through his parents updates on FB. I wish he could steadily heal without all the setbacks. Tripp and his family have been through SOOOOO much!!! Praying for them daily.
