  1. They have now posted the picture of it on FB saying they were finally able to do so. AMAZING!!! I do not watch the show but BBB did a great job on the cake. Proud for them. They have very good desserts and deserve the recognition.
  2. Not to dispute what everyone has said re: vehicles having to be registered and tagged I just asked about this at the tag office last week. While there getting a tag for our truck I asked the lady "IF you have a vehicle that is not running and just sitting in the yard do you have to keep insurance and a current tag on it?" Her response was "If you keep the registration on it. You can suspend the registration and you do not have to keep insurance nor a current tag on it. Then, when it is running again you can reinstate the registration and then you will be required to have a current tag and insu
  3. A good friend tore his while playing soccer almost 2 years ago. Although he did have surgery he was out of work and in the boot for 6 months. He continued to have problems and has been to doctor after doctor, had MRI's, CT Scans, etc. He was walking flat footed like Frankenstein. He FINALLY got to the right doctor who immediately diagnosed the problem and gave him a spint to sleep in and a machine for PT. This was 3 weeks ago and he has made more progress in this length of time than he did since he was injured. Wish your Mom Good Luck and a speedy and full recovery.
  4. Currently all sizes are available with the exception of 3X. All of those are PPU. THANKS!
  5. THANK YOU all again SOOOOOO MUCH@!!!! He called when he landed in Ft. Lauderdale and again when he got to his apartment in Hollywood, FL. He will be living there for rehearsals until he sails June 1st. My emotions are all over the place. I am on the brink of tears all the time because I am so very proud of him and for him yet there is a void in my heart and home. Even though he was always on the go and didn't seem to be here a whole lot it is different when you KNOW he won't be walking through the door any minute. THANKS again for all the kind words and support.
  6. THANK YOU, Dana. I really appreciate your support, good wishes and kind words.
  7. No mam. Of the $36K for tuition/year he had all but $8K in scholarships and grants. He raised an additional $1000 but was still $7K short. He has that money set aside for school. He was accepted to AMDA (American Musical Dramatic Academy) in NYC again for this upcoming year. After this contract with Royal Caribbean money for school will not be an issue,
  8. You are right. I have ALWAYS told him: "IF you can make a living doing what you have a passion for you will never work a day in your life. You will be a step a head of all us to have a "job" for a "paycheck".
  9. DUH???? You would think I would have known that after 18 years working for Alabama & Georgia as a Social Worker. Just knew the Health Dept. was closed bc DS needed to get his shot record. We did too in Alabama. When they added MLK b'day as a Federal Holiday we got it but didn't gain one as it was the same date as our Robert E. Lee Holiday! NOPE......Us Southerners take our Confederate Holiday SERIOUSLY!!! (OR at least any excuse to get a PAID day off!!!! )
  10. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!! Yes, we are extremely proud and am glad it is short notice - I haven't had time to dwell on it. In my mind "he is going to Florida" which he is. I will deal with Denmark, Russia, Sweden, London, etc, etc at a later date when I HAVE TO!!!! Yes, he has worked VERY hard for this great opportunity. As doors have closed over the years I have always told him "EVERYTHING happens for a reason. And, God will open the door when it is the RIGHT door and the RIGHT time for YOU". And, He did. Wade is now ready for this journey. He actually auditioned for Carnival. But
  11. I know many of you have followed Wade's career for many years. I am so very happy to share his FB status from Saturday. This has happened SOOOO QUICK. His audition was March 31st and he got the contract offer last Tuesday and flies out TOMORROW!!!!! :yahoo: Dear Facebook friends and family, I have some exciting news to share with you all!! I have accepted a contract with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a lead vocalist in their “Boogie Wonderland” and “Broadway’s Rhythm & Rhyme” show aboard their Vision of the Seas vessel. WHEN? Well...I start rehearsals April 24th (Yes...that

  15. I never thought he would be taken alive. I expected him to go out in a blaze of glory and to take more innocent lives with him. Glad they got him!!!
  16. Yes there is. I am looking forward to that one.....IF I don't forget.
  17. What all do you put with this?? As far as tonight, I have no earthly idea. I am just now eating breakfast.
  18. I agree with you Guard Dad, but this place is not "new". This thread was started Feb. 13th so they've had at least two months to get the kinks out. And, some of the complaints in this thread should have been corrected within the first couple of weeks at the very least - if should have ever been a problem at all. I have not tried this place for personal reasons but I do hope they get their act together. I hate for any home owned business not to succeed.
  19. It has always amazed DH and I how our Dachshunds know when one of us is not feeling well. They will stay right with us (more so than usual) and comfort us. When our Riley died 3 summers ago at the age of 15 our other Doxie, Snickers definitely grieved for his buddy. He had never know life without Riley. It was so sad!! Furbabies are a lot smarter and have a keen 6th sense - more so than what people give them credit for.

  21. GREAT GAME!!! Yep, just imaging how good they can be with Freddie & Brian back??? Just hope they can keep this playing going into October to go all the way. :clapping:
  22. Hopefully you will also address the issue of ONLY $150/mo child support. Good Grief - Even 25 years ago $200 was the minimum I knew of!!! In this day and this economy $150 is nothing to support a child.
  23. Maybe because HE OWES IT TO HER AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HIS CHILD?????? OP, Contact Commerce Member on here Jeanne O'Halleran. She did an AMAZING job for a Dear Friend of mine and her ex-husband was threatening to take custody, had not paid a dime CS, refused to agree to mediation, etc, etc. He was a real piece of work (aka Jacka$$) but Ms. O'Hallaren put him in his place in Court and he went running with his tail tucked between his tails. She got my friend what she was due. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php?/page/commerce
