Last night DH made homemade Chicken Alfreado over Vermicelli noodles. Sliced fresh tomatoes. Bake-At-Home Loaf French Loaf. YUMMMMMMM. Dang I missed your Lasagna again.

Praying for your Mom and the family. A very good friend had MRSA two years ago and it was a VERY LONG and difficult recovery. She went in the hospital for a 3 day stay to have a knee replacement surgery that turned in to a 4 week stay battling MRSA. It is very difficult to rid once it sets in. Wishing your Mom a speedy and full recovery.

I tried a new recipe someone shared on FB: Cheesy Pork Chops, crowder peas and rolls. Simple and filling. Cheesy Pork Chops: Layer potato slices in 9x13 casserole dish Place boneless pork chops on top In bowl mix Cheddar Cheese soup & French Onion soup then pour over pork chops Bake covered @ 350 for 55 mins Remove foil and top pork chops with Monterey Jack Cheese and cover again with the foil. The heat and steam will melt the cheese perfectly. Surprisingly it didn't have a real cheesy taste but good and different.

When we had Comcast we tried to drop the landline but it was cheaper to keep the bundle with cable/internet/landline. So, we started using the landline for our business and continued to do so when we switched to ATT/Uverse. Some of my vendors and customers have my cell number but I don't necessarily want EVERYONE to have it.

Spending it at the DD's with all the children, GRANDS (Her roommate & her children are included as they ARE our children/GRANDS) and couple of friends. The menu: Fried Turkey (breaking tradition this year and at this point not baking a ham but that could very well change before tomorrow ) Homemade Mac & Cheese Putting on green beans to cook the rest of the day Southern Style Red Potatoes added to the green beans in the AM Squash casserole Apple/Orange/Banana Salad Rolls Pecan Pie Coconut Cake Guess I NEED to get busy since we do ALL the cooking!!! DANG! So much going on around here I totally forgot!!!! Hope you had a great turnout and moved some STUFF!! BTW, My steak last night was even better than usual and DH said his double cheeseburger was the BEST he's ever had. PERIOD. (The connoisseur of cheeseburgers LOL) Of course, DD tried telling him how LARGE the double was he still ordered it. And almost cleaned his plate. But, I understand it will be the last Friday night we get to come? Making plans with our friends we met last night to meet again Thursday night. I am disappointed I didn't get out there last week for the gumbo.

This AND....if their partner of 30 (or however many) years is in ICU they will not be allowed to be present nor make medical decisions because they are not considered "family".

NEAT!!! I saw on the news today that they are wanting more money for the show on A&E. The network makes a ton of money off advertising from the show so they deserve every penny they can get.

Let me add.....just as the gay discussion is what all the Media is talking about. I was talking to a friend yesterday about HOW certain crime cases are the obsession of the media. There are 1000's of crimes in our Country daily BUT....when one network or TrueTV puts their claws on a case ALL of them do while other cases never get mentioned.

I saw an interview this week with Julian Bonds who is well respected and was in the middle of the Civil Rights Movement. The interviewer asked his opinion to folks saying the gay movement is NOT a Civil Rights issue. I cannot remember his entire response but he said it IS a Civil Rights issue just as the rights of blacks and of women once was a Civil Rights issue. A person should be allowed to marry the person they are in love with. Mr. Bond also discussed how not so long ago it was a violation of the law for interracial marriage. I thought about Munchausen, too. Especially with her doing all the interviews. DH made the statement that IF I were in that situation there is NO WAY I would be able to talk much less do TV interviews I would be so distraught. During my career in Social Work I saw several cases of this and she reminded me very much of those mothers.

All of our family enjoys Golden Corral - especially the one in Douglasville. DH and I really enjoy the salad bar. To each their own but there are horror stories for every and all restaurants even the 5 STAR ones. I simply choose NOT to be confined to eating only at home. We will NOT eat at Ryan's. I would like to see the one here close and Golden Corral move into the building.

I MISS seeing David and Elizabeth and have been craving some dry/crispy wings. No one can cook them as good as David!!!! YEP! As good as food was at The Dugout and it couldn't make it I wouldn't expect a Cuban place to make it. But, then again I don't think I would care for it. I wish them luck, tho!!

As a Christian I am offended by the words and actions of Westboro. They do NOT exemplify what the Bible teaches and not what is a Christian. But, as you say thy use the word to justify their hate. I LOVE THE HOUSE AND THE LOCATION BTW!!!
