DH is bringing home homemade potato soup (Will fry some bacon, cut up green onions and shredded cheese to top with) and cheese bagles (YUMMMMMMM-the BEST bagels ever!)from Goldberg's Deli. Probably eat the last of the homemade peach cobbler from last night for dessert.

I've never been impressed with Olive Garden - like my Italian cooking much better. But, I've been a couple of times in the last year for lunch and enjoyed the salad/breadsticks and their lunch was reasonable. I've learned the trick to it is to not get anything with a red sauce. It will be good to have their salad/breadsticks available. The TWO new Mexican restaurants coming to town has been discussed and rediscussed. I love Mexican, but.....Enough is enough!!!

I keep thinking of people's names as I read the thread. I went to a small Women's Baptist College in Alabama. One girl in my class was from Miami and was named CANDY BRACH. Would you believe not until about a year ago in talking with another friend who went to college with us and was close to her did I learn her family is the Brach Candy Fortune! DUH??????? Paris Hilton was actually buying a birthday gift and card. (This ACE has a really nice gift department!) Elton John has not been in the store himself but his decorator is often. DH has been to his studio in Buckhead a couple of times to pick out the paint colors for it. But, Kenny Rogers DOES pick screws out of a bin one at a time and lets his twins play with them. I wouldn't pay $20.00 difference for ANYTHING! But, I don't think DH's ACE is that much overpriced than the box stores even with their location.

The "Search" button is different from the "Find Topics" button. I don't like that feature about the "Search" button either! The "Find Topics" button is underneath my profile and pulls up all the Thread Topics I have started. It is easy for me to keep up with the items I'm selling and the comments/orders people have placed.

My 2 cents (for what it's worth) on the ACE closing. DISCLAIMER: DH is an employee of ACE Hardware on the other side of Atlanta. With that being said: DH was contacted by one of the owners of the two ACE Hardware stores in Paulding.
