When I was in my 20s I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome/Dysautonomia. At the hospital they put me in ICU. When they hooked me up to the monitor there my heart was beating really fast: 188 beats a minute. Earlier it had been beating a little faster than that. I would get it checked. I've heard of women having symptoms of MVPS after giving birth but it could be something else, and it would be good to find out what's causing it.
