  1. I wish it were that easy to get rid of a DA. Instead we have to have a battle of the words to try to influence other adults when we both KNOW people are just going to vote for whomever goes to their church or lives down the street from their cousin. I have a feeling you don't really give a flip about Lane either way, you are just xxxx-blocking Donovan. haha
  2. Yeah, it's not like they approved all the building permits or anything.
  3. If I were a criminal and could hire a prosecutor, I would have to go with Drew Lane. lol. I might never go to trial that way and have my charges reduced enough to make my crime pay!
  4. Right? I mean you can't really hire your own prosecutor. Common sense would dictate they are either criminal defense attorneys or maybe real estate attorneys or civil attorneys. I think I would pick criminal defense attorney since they do the criminal stuff and all. Jeez. How obtuse is that ad? To me, it shows why we need a new DA. If this is the best he can for his own interests, how well will he represent ours? I haven't seen one solid reason for us to keep digging ourselves a hole. I keep hearing he took over a mess, but he won in 2006 as the incumbent, so he "took over a mess" from him
  5. Pubby, stop, you are killing me. I laughed out loud when I read this. Idi Amin. Ahahahaha. "Sometimes people mistake the way I talk for what I am thinking." ~ Idi Amin Dada (who knew, he has a last name) The Osama thing is just truly insulting, as I guess is the Amin reference and the others (had to look up "Doc" Duvalier, hope you aren't suggesting DD is going to have DL murdered), and is way worse than anything Mr. Donovan said to you. I truly feel badly when I hurt somebody's feelings, unless they get all drama-full and make a big ass deal out of it, then I no longer care. Karma is
  6. Stop filling out that QSP fundraiser stuff and just send in a check instead. That's what I do. I don't like to bother family/friends with fundraising anyway. I also don't like giving outside companies all my child's information, which is EXACATLY what you do when you fill that out. If my little one gets upset about not getting the prize, I find out what prizes are offered and get her a few things at the dollar store. Willing to bet? How safe is all the online information? Ever wonder if the BOE gets hacked? Maybe the lunch information or the gradebook information? Who does QSP sel
  7. Yes, chilling some anonymous person can post whatever they want on a message board and we all naturally believe them. Because everything you hear in an election year is true. The court of public opinion has a crappy judge because they don't know the difference between scandalous hearsay and sworn truth. And men try to say it is women who gossip. Who posted that? He maybe should have signed his post. Then I maybe wouldn't think it is a desparate blind attack. Is it a bad thing to have a district attorney people think twice about crossing rather than one that has all the time in the wor
  8. I have. Not food, though. lol.
  9. Cherry A Let. I have searched and searched for them. Even the nostalgia candy sellers online don't have them.
  10. Things I like about pcom: Lady Raider and Madea ~ They are nice people in all circumstances. That is very hard to do and I could never figure out how to accomplish it. Finding out what bothers parents in the School Vent. It is very educational. It is nice to see things from a parent's perspective. I have changed some of my practices based on this parent input and have also decided some people are just plain nuts. Accident reporting. Most of the time I hear sirens I can find out what happened on pcom. The facts aren't always straight, but I usually get a good overall idea. He
  11. Hahaha. Thanks for pointing this out, SOLO. Pubby, Would you say he has a WIDE, arrogant, insufferable ass or would you just pretend you didn't post numerous times about how HE called YOU a name. Hahahahaha. (Yes, I edited Pubby's 'footage', but who doesn't around here? ) DON'T argue with a woman. Men should already know that.
  12. If you ever really need him, let me know. He's purty, but he ain't cheap...
  13. The Ragsdale Inn. http://www.theragsdaleinn.com/The_Ragsdale_Inn_Event_Package.pdf Wow, not sure how much if you supply your own food. I'm not sure if that little community center place in old Hiram will hold 150 people, but I have had some good times there...
  14. She was built for distance, not speed.
  15. That is a great idea! I think most knives are brought to school unintentionally. Unless a chick brings a knife, then WATCH OUT!
  16. That's my kind of boy. Make sure he doesn't take his nail cleaner to school. lol.
  17. Boys get their hair did nowadays just like the girls. I have even seen boys with manicures.
  18. You don't watch Dexter, do you? Other people can raise their own kids however they want. Just make sure your child doesn't tease other children who can't afford such luxuries.
  19. Yes, those eyes... (and if you don't look at his bum, i'm not sure where those go, but they sure go somewhere. lol)
  20. Yeah, I was thining they maybe absconded with some money that should have been paid to the state (us, in other words). I "protest" everytime I do my taxes. lol.
  21. Thank you for that perspective. I can understand that. Is there business software that can help you with this task? Why? 1099s are reported income. I'm glad LTD explained that some of them are being protested and/or adjusted because if he didn't I would be screaming, "Take the boat! Take the Escalade! Take the house on the golf course!" If you can't afford to pay your taxes, you can't afford a boat.
  22. Nah, my attorney was HOT! If I ever need one again, I'm for sure calling him. Are you a fluffer in the summer? lol.
  23. Better that somebody prosecutes them than nobody, don't you think? So is he an old fart or a rookie? I am confused... Hahahaha. Forgot to laugh. No, courtroom experience is courtroom experience. The law is the law. Same laws on both sides, I'm pretty sure. (I am tickling myself in this defense of a man I don't even know.) I think this last argument is ridiculous and weak. The pitcher gets to bat. The chef gets to eat. You have time to think, dinner time.
  24. You have the job experiences correct. The issue is, how many cases really get prosecuted by our DA in this county. You think it would be fair to compare the number of cases prosecuted by DL to the number of cases defended by DD in the same amount of time? They are both courtroom experience. I would like to see those numbers... (I know from being an opinionated client, read PITA, it takes as much managerial prowess to keep clients in line as it does subordinates.)
  25. Politics is a dirty business. I've almost exhausted my caring. I can't keep up. I can almost understand why people don't vote. They get tired of the ugliness. I wish someone would just send me a speadsheet with the candidate's opinions marked under the issues and leave the personal stuff out of it. I don't care what Daniel Stout did when he was young any more than I care about what religion he is or on which side of his head he parts his hair. I am going back to cleaning. Much better than mud-slinging.
