Our Thoughts and prayers go out to Southern Scarlett and family. May God Bless them thru this very difficult time. -
I wear sunglasses whenever I am outside. I don't know the brand but I do know they have uv protection. I guess i am used to wearing them because I can't seem to be able to be without them.

Had to go into work today so way to tired to cook. So we went over to Powder Springs to Bailey's Restaurant. Hubby had meat loaf , pintos, salad and peach cobbler. I had the same except Baked chicken instead of meat loaf. It was really good....too full now ready to settle in and watch some t.v. or a good DVD.

There is a really wonderful bed and breakfast in Montezuma, Georgia called Travelers Rest. Adel is the innkeeper and she is a wonderful hostess. She serves a bountiful breakfast that is so yummy and it is included in the price of the lodging. She can also fix a candlelight dinner for two for a extra price but it is well worth it. She is a fantastic cook. Montezuma is only a couple hours away and is small town, quiet not a lot of traffic and so stress free.....She is also running a special right now for couples massage. You can go on their website travelersrestbb.com and see the pictures an

CC, That is great to know. I love the Everglades. We go on an airboat rides thru the Everglades whenever we do get to go to Miami and we always have a blast. I would love to take you up on your offer when we get go back to Miami. You are so right about Joe's Stone Crab. It is a Miami must.

I have really good friends that used to live in Miramar, Florida which is not far at all from Miami. It was a nice little community but I have not been there in several years because they moved from that area a long time ago. Hubby's niece lives in Coral Gables. She decided to move out there and go to college. She graduated from the University of Miami about 7 years ago and then decided that Miami would be her home. We went out to visit her about three years ago and had a great time but we have not had a chance to go back. sigh...........I miss Miami.

I used to have a really good smothered chicken recipe that I would make all the time. It was in a meat cookbook that I bought back in the 1980's, or somewhere in that time frame, and I can't find my cookbook anywhere. It had flour and lemon juice in it and that is all I can remember. I would love to see if anyone can share their recipe with me. Thank you in advance.
