Cades Cove is absolutley breath-taking. Lots and lots of deer, and we also saw several bears and wild turkeys the last time we were there

this is travelingman here, dallasbrowneyes hubby. In the 1970's there was a clothing manufacturing company in the building where MacFarlanes is now located. I think I was told that they made shirts at the factory. Some local Hiram person would remember. I remember driving by during the day in the summers and the doors were open with fans blowing because they didn't have air conditioning. I wonder if your father had picked up a load of shirts for delivery or if he was delivering the raw material to the factory. Hope you find your information you are looking for.

This is Travelingman here, Dallasbrowneyes hubby. The other land the City of Atlanta owns is in Dawson County. The city bought the land that Lockheed use to own and still has radioactive waste stored on it. They bought this just before they bought the land in Paulding. When the city started talkiing about buying land between Atlanta and Macon, Maynard Jackson was mayor and he stopped the idea of the purchase. He said there never would be a need to build another airport, and take jobs away from the citizens of Atlanta.

Dallasbrowneyes hubby speaking here. I appreciate the advice given by Paulding Realtor1. I've seen a lot in 40 years. On a street in Dekalb County along the street right of way at one corner there are four iron pins, all within two feet of each other. I think I left the picture with my employer when I retired, it was one of the Kodak moments for a land surveyor. One home owner in Atlanta living on a gravel street built an addition to his house without getting a permit. I think Covellis is on Main Street in Villla Rica is the one you are talking about. I have not eaten there myself but one of my co workers eats there a lot and loves it. She works not too far from there and eats lunch there probably about once a week. We have been wanting to eat there but can't seem to get the chance. I love pasta, one of my favorite foods, so we hope we will get to eat three real soon.

I recommend having a survey done before you install the fence. I am dallasbrowneyes hubby and a retired land surveyor. In Atlanta you have to have a survey before a permit will be issued to the fence company to help prevent any mistakes. Just going out with a metal detector and looking for iron pins doesn't guarantee you are using the right iron pin. I know of many subdivisions that have iron pins along the back lines within two or three feet of each other and just using the metal detector you can pick the wrong pin and install your fence on an adjoiner's property. I would recommend the survey

Hubby and I love to go to Savannah and Tybee Island and go every chance we get. The Shrimp Factory on River Street has a pecan encrusted sea bass dish that is so good and The Boars Head has a great mahi mahi sandwich if you like fish. The Pirates House is a must and has been around forever. If you do get to go to Tybee Island go to Fannies on the Beach. That place is really cool and they have the best mahi mahi fish sandwich on the island IMHO. Also you will love Stingrays. It is our very favorite place. Everything there is wonderful but if you like scallops, they have the best anywhe

Too busy of a week-end, so sweet hubby said lets go out to eat and I said "YES" I told him just pick the place so we went to LaCocina and got the supreme chicken Burito. It was so good.
