I read that they recommend it because, God forbid that something should happen, that it's easier to fix a broken leg or legs than a broken neck. I would have turned him forward facing before now but we just got a new car seat for him and we're going to use the Marathon for our daughter and didn't much see the point in having to move the car seats around twice within a short time. Yeah, sounds like it would be better to put him forward facing in the Jeep because of the low seats.

I sold my car on there too and had the same types of responses. My car needed a new engine and I told everyone that up front, so I got a lot of people wanting to buy the car without seeing it and told me they wanted it to sell for parts. They were offering way less than what I was asking. I just flat out told them no and I'm glad I did because I ended up getting a full price offer from a mechanic who bought the car to repair it himself. But if I had to do it again, I'm not sure that I would use CL. Good luck selling your vehicle! -
I have the Britax Marathon car seat also as a rear facing car seat. And I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person who believes in rear facing up to age 2 or longer. My son is still rear facing and he's 2 1/2. My MIL thinks I'm crazy for still having him rear facing because it's not a law to keep them rear facing until 2-just a recommendation. But he's skinny also-just barely 30 pounds now. We're about to put him in a Britax Frontier for forward facing and then use the Marathon for our daughter.

Yeah, of course if it's on FB it's true! LOL! I don't even have a FB account. Someone who does told me that they saw it on a friend's page. But they said it was Canterbury Lane subdivision and then the person who posted on here said it was Carrington. But if it was my child and I thought someone was attempting to abduct them, I would call the police to get the word out.

So, has anyone notified the police or the news about this? If it's true, the word needs to get out to everyone. I heard about it from someone too but it seems to only be on FB.

I don't use FB either for that reason. I think people just put too much information out there for anyone to find. And I agree with what The Postman said in his post. -
Weird.

I told my husband about this and he said that he didn't think it was just a coincidence that this particular guy came to your house. He thought it was God's way of bringing you and Will closer to Alyssa and letting you know that she is okay. -

God works in mysterious and amazing ways! That is so awesome that this happened! I believe that God is letting you know that Alyssa is safe and happy and not to worry. -
Great picture!

His name was Richard Stout and he was an attorney in Cobb County. He donated the property to Cobb County Government to preserve the land in memory of his wife. I'm sure someone at the Cobb County Parks & Recreation department would give you more info on this. 770-528-8800

Thanks for letting me know. I was supposed to have some pictures made there and the photographer said a friend of hers told her they were working on something there-maybe a building? How's that photo album/scrapbook for your son coming along?

I remember you posting a few weeks ago that you called to ask about a rebate and then found out they credited your account for the amount of the rebate. Didn't you say you called them to tell them you didn't want the credit and wanted the gift card instead? So, wouldn't it make sense to charge your account back for the credit? Were there any stipulations listed on the rebate such as you have to have service for so many months or anything like that? Sometimes places offer gift cards and it says quantities are limited-I know of a toy store that does that with the free gift cards with purcha -
I guess people want to be greedy and get as much free candy as they can. I don't think it's right either.
