  1. You're welcome! Let us know if how he likes it. Who would want a tree this early?! It would be dried out before Christmas! LOL
  2. Beautiful pictures! My favorite is the first one. Thanks for sharing them!
  3. Maybe you could put together a photo album or scrapbook of special pictures and memories you've had as a family and give it to him as a Christmas present. That way he'll have something special to take with him when he does move out. Maybe when he does move out he won't move too far away so that he can visit you often.
  4. Awww...that brings tears to my eyes. I'm sure you will make this Christmas special for him. Prayers that you will be able to.
  5. My son just turned 2 and I can't wait to see what he does this year on Christmas morning, also! We put up our tree last year and just made sure to put kid-safe ornaments near the bottom-without hooks. Amazingly, he left it alone-this year is when he'll probably want to take all of the ornaments off! Hopefully he'll be more excited to see Santa this year. Last year he cried and tried to jump off of his lap! LOL! It made a very cute picture, though! Congratulations to him! That WILL be a very good reason to celebrate!
  6. I've noticed that too! Most stores used to wait to put their Christmas stuff out until AFTER Halloween!
  7. Berry College is beautiful! I had my son's pictures taken there last year and they were great! Highly recommended!
  8. It seems like this year has flown by!
  9. I agree-it's great that you are able to enjoy your retirement and do something you like to do! My grandmother always cooked for us when we were kids and I think that is what made my sister and I develop our love of cooking. Enjoy your retirement!
  10. I can understand what others are saying about why they keep someone's FB page active to keep their memory alive, but what you're talking about would be kind of strange.
  11. One word...ADORABLE!!!! Thanks for sharing! It's so cute seeing babies when they first learn to smile and laugh. And I agree with the previous posters, there's no way you can be in a bad mood after seeing that! So sweet!
  12. Very pretty! I love those old-timey pumpkins from Burt's Pumpkin Farm.
  13. Prayers for the people involved on the motorcycle and I hope they find the woman who did this to them! Have any of the news stations covered this story? It might help to find her if more people are made aware of it.
  14. Are the pumpkins already picked from the vines or is it where you can pick them yourself? And how much do you charge for pumpkins?
  15. That is so sweet! It brought tears to my eyes. That is one of the best pay-it-forwards I've ever heard of also! His parents must be proud of him! I'm sure those families who got the trips to Disney World are so grateful. God bless him!
  16. That's my favorite part of the video too where the young version of Toby Keith is dancing! My other fave Toby Keith video is "I'm Not As Good As I Once Was"-love that video!!!
  17. These kind of stories just make me sick! As a parent, you are supposed to love and protect your children. I can't even imagine what this young man must have been feeling to know that his mother was doing this to him (or letting it happen to him). I hope they get the worst punishment possible! At least they let him out before he died from starvation. And I'm glad he told police what happened so that they can stop these sickos from doing the same thing to their daughters too.
  18. Sounds like basically the judge doesn't care because he's about to retire anyway. I am so sorry about what happened but I still have a good feeling that you will be able to get Alyssa. I will keep you in my prayers. I started crying when I read that part about Will's mom falling to her knees outside of the courtroom. Bless her heart! Don't get discouraged-you and Will are trying to do what's best for baby Alyssa and I know you want her as your own child, but just have peace knowing that she's at least away from those abusive losers that are her "parents." (I know I shouldn't talk abou
  19. LOVE this video-one of my favorites by Toby Keith!
  20. Wishing you a speedy recovery! And congrats on the upcoming grandbaby!
  21. Hey AGG, just checking to see if you have any updates on how everything went yesterday. I am praying that the judge will do what's best for Alyssa. I sure hope he won't let her biological parents have her back! They don't deserve her!
  22. I'm totally serious with this question, are they illiterate or somehow mentally deficient? My thoughts exactly!!!
  23. The #1 priority of any parent should be their child/children. My kids come first-no matter what! My mom raised 3 kids as a single mom and she would do without so that we would always have food and clothes. If my kids were ever being abused or abuse was suspected, I'd be gone in a second! Too many people either don't take it seriously or just don't care and then it's too late. These people sound like they should be related to the loser "mom" of my nephew. She has 2 kids (one by my brother and one by someone else) and doesn't have custody of either one of them-their dads have custody of
