Unless the violated the " permitting another to violate state law" then no. They would have to have knowingly given him the drugs or alcohol and/or let him drive knowing his condition. They can be held civilly responsible though.

If you are talking about the cases I think you are they are nearly 20 years apart. Widely diferent times by jury standpoints.

What she said with Nordic instead of Dutch. That is if you go by the history associated to each. As a practical current matter though Santa is an embodym ent of a concept. When you do that and throw in all the diverse viees of peopke arond the world you will get widely different descriptions. What it boils down to is... are you talking about Santa Claus, St. Nicholas or one off the many other incarnations of that concept. I believe it safe to say Santa Claus himself is white. But many of the others may not be. I doubt very seriously that Jesus would look anything like a person of Nordic de

I hsve always liked the stomach and heart. Especially when mom put them in our chicken and rice soup. I have never been fond of livers, too mushy. I have had fried gizzards at the old resteraunt across from the Pwd. Spgs. DQ and liked them. I would like to try your recipe SP. But as a practical matter I do not see it happening.

I think I would have responded with" exactly what was it that YOU did for him again? ". And then just let her stew in her own stupidity. But in the end you did a good deed and I am certain he appreciated it.

You know. ... I got to work this morning just before 09:30. It eas just a slight drizzle and plenty dreary but day light none the less. I checked the tatus of my auto lights. My headlights and taillights were on. It appears they are properly adjussted to come on during a daytime rain. Good to know.

Yep... you guys are correct about that. But at least I got something on. LOL But ill see if I can figure out where the light switch is and how to use it. It has been so long that I forgot.

So Sad and Disrespectful (In My Opinion)..........
nschur replied to Beach Bum's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Let me get this straight.... you are saying it is disrespectuful to "shove Santa in the face " of Jewish folks who are voluntarily attending an optional Christmas parade in which the guest of honor has been traditionally St. NICHOLAS for many many years. Some one please remind me to get upset at the next Gay Pride parade I voluntarily go to. Sorry that was just the first example I thought of. -
OMG!!!! You actual gave Stradial a compliment.... I think. Who are you and what have hou done with Cane?

I suspect it is a broad net cast to see if there is any kind of pattern to the growing rates of ADD ADHD In children. I would assume that it starts broad and narrows later if they find data to support a conclusion. They might as well blame it on chicken nuggets. I have metfew preschoolers that wouldnot consume there weight in nuggets given the chance.

I have studied the military and specifically the WW II era all my life. I have enough books, atlas, encylopedias, reference books etc to fill a small library. I have read most of them. The current belief is that if we were to fight another 5 year war in the scale of that one, we could not win. It is not about equipment and men it is about the homefront. It took the combined efforts of EVERY man woman and child in the US to win that war. Men mostly volunteered. Women who had not prior entered the workforce. Children collected all manner of scaps and worked in home gardens so farmers crops could

Judge Beavers rules that the Airport bonds can go forward

Good question. My first guess would be that it has to do with the capabilty to take commuter planes. As for Whitey... Ill just come right in out and say it IN ORDER FOR WHITEY TO ONCE AGAIN BE HAPPY... Would everyone and every business that moved into Paulding since 1980 PLEASE LEAVE!!! And yes that includes me. We just all need to leave so he can live here and die happy all by himself. I never realized that A Whitey was actually Mr. Paulding. -
There is a guy in the complex behind the Happy Hawg BBQ on HWY 92 and Nebo Rd. He has done several jobs fir me including putting a heel back on one of my wife's boots.

I can tell you from experience on both sides of the retail sales line. As an employee working my way through college it chapped my hide to no end on Fri and Sat nights. I was having to work full time nights and weekends which meant I worked with many of the highschoolers and drop outs who only worked weekend nights. It was mostly the girls, not to be sexist but facts are facts, that ran the registers. They would have 2, 3 and 4 girls call in on any night saying they were sick. They were not sick, we knew from their friends that they got a last minute date with Johnny Bravo and just didn't want

I will NEVER forget this date. As a very wise man once said " those that do not remember and learn from the mistakes of their past, are doomed to repeat those mistakes." It probably will not be the Japanese that pull a stunt like that vut you can be certain that there are many others out there that would just love to pull something just like it.

I carry a small change purse for coins and have a habot of paying thr cents portii n of my bill from it. Sometimes I know I do not have enough and will pay say 23 cents plus a $10 for a bill of $7.73. I hand them the money and they tend to look really confused. I justctell them there is method to my madness just key it in. In the enf I will get $2 and 2 quarters back. I always need quartees pluss I gave up 5 or even more coins to do it. Most of them do not grasp this basic concept. If I really want to fresk them out... I add my totsl and calculate the tax in my head and hand them exact change

A TPO is a temporay protective order. It is enforcible by the police if they are violated. They are issued to help people get threw a problem until they go to court. Once they go to court a restraining order can be issued. This is NOT enforcible by the ppolice but it is enforcible by the courts. I agree that someone with ODD is a royal pain to deal with. I also agree with mrnn. Give them the reasources and a reson for them to go somewhere else that they want to go to. Then change your phone number and close your FB. Account to them.

Please correct me if I am wrong here, but to the best of my knowledge there was no charging station for cars at the school. He was using a regular outlet. You know like the one likely outside your front door. http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2013/dec/05/electric-car-drivers-arrest-georgia-sparks-debate-/

That's what I was thinking. I had no clue what greatma was talking about either. I guess it is a good thing I didnt ask as well.

I was thinking earlier today. I saw a young man getting out of his truk at his mailbox holding a cigarette. I have no problem with that at all, it is his choice. As I understand it a pack of cigarettes is around $4. I personally believe that a good number of these folks working at these MW jobs also smoke cigarettes. Again, it is their right to do so. I wonder if they have done the math on that, they claim that it is not enoughto live on. How would a $1 / hour pay raise feel to them? Would they like that? If so maybe they could drop that smoking habit. A $4 pack per day habit amounts to a wage

nschur replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
While I agree this is a total waste of money you do have to understand a few things. 1. A 911 call was made and an officer was dispat he'd to investigate. 911 can not say no we will not send an officer. 2. A CRIME WAS COMMITTED. Whether or not we think it warrants going to court is not the point. 3. Apparantly the officer TRIED TO BE NICE and understanding about what happened but the violator appears to have an entitled attitude and made no attempt to assist the officer in his attempt to DOWNPLAY this incident. 4. The school is a asset of the local government and generally sp -

Let me first ask you folks a question. Hoe would you feel of some random person stopped i n front of your home and ran an extension cord to your outlet so they could charge their car? How many would it take to add up and affect your bill? So with that question in mind, the officer was entirely correct. It is a theft of service. And it has a specific charge since it is a utility. I do not think the last parr comes into plsy here becsuse the person suffering the loss is the BOE and not the elect. Comp. So again the LEO was correct... tecnically. The law itself is blind. The judge is the God
