Please leave political commentary out of this poll
nschur replied to nschur's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Just so you guys know, the last question is designed to "remove" the "NO" responses in some of the questions like 1 - 4. If you do not read those articles then it would be obvious that you specifically would not remember any poster saying that. -
Please leave political commentary out of this poll

I'd have to look into the profit margins. I'm sure LTD could give some input though. Anyway, My gut tells me that they do not operate at a very high "margin" but they do sell LOTS of product. Therefore making them VERY large sums of profit. ie. if you sell 100 units of product at $10 each with a profit of $1 each, you have made $100 profit on a margin of 10%. If you move 100,000 units at $1 each with a profit of .01 cents each, you have made $1,000 on a margin of 1%. -

I don't see honest data doing that. I reitterate that I do not care if there are absolutely no comments in this poll. I would have chosen that option had it been available. -
See my poll topic. That should give you a good idea. You know me, I is a college gradiate and a perpetual trouble maker.

I am looking for straight yes / no answers here and no comments. General comments are welcome but no political comments please. Mods please give this a chance in the IC. The intent is purely fact finding not politics.

What is the furthest date we can perform a findable search within the current PCom database? Can we search a prior database elsewhere?

That does not stop the gas companies from immediately raising the gas prices at the pump. As soon as they see a potential issue, they raise the prices. The same as the insurance companies are doing.

And that I have no problem with. I have a problem with (and actually listen to what I am saying here) the 4th car to arrive parking in the 1st spot in the 2nd line. I only had it happen to me 1 time. Then I figured out that these folks are either totally clueless or vindictive. Due to Dis jr's antics I have been called to the school oh about 40 or so times now ( I truly lost count). And with their appointments (Dis jr. really has a lot due to his medical issues and counseling), I pick them up quite a bit. As I stated I try to let them stay in for as long as possible before picking them up. The

I'm too afraid to go look.

Drinks and occasional snacks are fine. I get upset when, and this has happened several times now, the visiting children will find out we have a case of say those ICEE pops and they don't get one but 3 or 4. My kids want to share with their friends but teaching them reasonable limits is difficult with a 9 y/o. Those kind of kids generally hang out here for very simple reasons and we have had a lot of kids move in and out of our neighborhood. I would say offer them tea, water and powdered drinks. Sodas are way to expensive now to continue giving them out all day.

But why be the first in the 2nd line when there are only 3 in the first? As I said, The first 20 or so in line 1 will leave before you will. And when I show up at 1:45 there is no reason to block me in. I park in the lot because I have learned there are people who are mean, stupid or just down right @$$holes who do that just out of spite.
-
I agree. When I get there at 1:45 to pick up a child from Hutchins for an appointment I still park in the parking lot but only because I know some sorry yahoo will park in the outside line to be first there when there are only like 3 cars on the right. And that is at 2:00. Why do you relly need to be in that line by 2:00?!? And the even better question is why does that person HAVE to be the first car on the left (with only 3 cars there on the right) when the first 20 or so cars on the right will be released before they release you? That is just stupid and rude.

A gold Chrysler 300 M? I got some friends in Powder Springs PD that might want to know about her if this is her normal path / Routine.

European greatness? Italy in dire straights and wanting a bail out from us. Greece can not even pay their restructured loans. Spain is a wreck and the people are voting out any politician who actual tries to work in austerity measures. Portugal, Iceland, Ireland all in a world of financial hurt. Germany France and England not much better off than the USA. AND NONE OF THEM pay 20% of their budget on defense / military. The highest is about 4% which means that they ae able to subsidise a full 16% more of their budgets to FREE / LOW COST HEALTH CARE. Geee.... I wonder how much more we could do if

I was thinking the same thing. But do not forget to get the same type lock as a replacement. Then put it on. Who cares if you are the only one who has a key now, at least you can go swimming. That'll teach them to ignore / forget you.

Ummm... guilty... but with stipulations. I have to already know that I will be traveling faster than those vehicles. Trust me there have been many mornings when I wound up behind a garbage truck or someone who insists on 35 mph on the main portion of 92. Also if I will not be the lead car on the right, I do not mess with it. If I can not personally control whether or not I can pass the first car, it is not worth the aggravation and I never wait until I get to the used car place to try and merge over. That has happened to me in the left lane many times.

I guess it is like the SAT. It is not exactly what you know as much as they are looking to see how well you can apply that knowledge and skills to solve problems in an effective and timely manner. And that would show that you have the skills required to successfully complete their training program. I'll be at your house in just a little while to finish up.

So let me get this right. This driver may be the same person as the one who routinely follows this path and is... ahem... quite the discourteous driver to say the least. So I say since we know her schedule, route and attitude then we need to have some fun at her expense. We start setting up before she gets there. We get one of us to give an approach heads up and then have a whole bunch of us "staged for affect" so that we can maximize both her aggravation levels and transit time. We can drive side by si on 2 lane roads, Temporarily "stall out" in locations like today's blocking her ability to

One of the VERY first things that we learn in EVOC (emergency vehicle operation and control), and I have been through Police and Fire EVOC schools, is that it is ALWAYS better to operate with caution and get there a few seconds later than to operate in a "all out" mode where you may not get there at all. There is NO excuse for that kind of driving! Even if it were an emergency, you would be better served to call 911 and get an ambulance that can operate in a similar manner legally while at the same time providing treatment while enroute to the hospital.

My wife is thinking about going to school for Physical Therapy Assistants. So one of the things they were saying was that she would have to take this test. So I look it up and we start going over the questions. Like this one... Jill has 16 jelly beans in her pocket. 8 red, 4 green and 4 blue. What is the minimum number of jelly beans she must take out of her pocket to insure that she has at least 1 of each color? A. 8 B. 9 C. 12 D. 13 And after doing a few of these questions I'm thinking maybe should should look into something else. I got it right, but I know she has a hard

that I was not the first car in line at the redlight! So Here is the situation, about 0720 or so we were sitting at the red light waiting for it to cycle green. No one in the left turn lane but the right / straight lane is backed up to Antioch Rd. or so. (about 80 - 100 yards back) I'm near the back of the line and see this car coming and he starts to go across the yellow gore area / centerline to get into the left turn lane. That is a no-no btw folks. I'm thinking that is pretty gutsy / dangerous but the left turn lane is emty so what do I care. Little did I realize he had no intention of t

Most weight loss / plastic surgery outcomes of this type will depend GREATLY on ones eating exercise habits. If you had a poor diet and little execise prior then the weight will just come back. If you eat enough and are only active enough to support a weight of say 180 for you, then that is what your body will do. You have the old fat cells removed and then do not change your habits you body will go back to where it was in the first place. To be effective, you need to change these habits. Someone who has lost say 100 lbs will likely have a good nit extra skin and having a tummy tuck will help
