That can't be Cobb, they have Visitors Stands!!

Any logo on it? If you can post a picture of a trailer that looks like it, that would be great. I'll keep an eye out. Was it loaded?

You should have seen an increase in your net pay when it happened. Can you look at your old checkbooks and see when the jump occurred? It would give you an idea of how much it is. If you didn't see a jump, need to find out where that money was going...

<reminiscing on> Every time I read one of your posts, I hear it in Don Knott's voice.... </reminiscing>

Dallas has a Civic Center? Google maps shows it by the Pcom office, but what building is it?

I think I would have filed the lawsuit already. Or seen if I could get them charged with Trespass and willful damage to property. Stupidest thing I ever hear of to ask for him to pay anything. Reminds me of the idiots in Carrolton that torn down the wrong house based on GPS location. I wonder if they ever settled or ended up getting sued also?

Huge sinkhole between gas station and restaurant on Merchants Drive
The Sound Guy replied to LUMPY's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If someone has a picture, can you post it? I dislike having to wade though 15 minutes of video for the one picture I want. Thanks! -
Well, it's bad timing, but they were changing my son's route last Monday, (another rant, but won't get into it now) but he went out at 6:55 this morning (for an 8:35 start time at High School) and no bus yet at 7:40, so I don't know if it's road conditions, so route timing that messed it up, but he ended up driving to school. What a mess.

Is that why Bus 6 is closed? -
Ain't that the truth!!

If these LEO are pulling muscles by running a couple of blocks down the street after someone, sounds like they need to implement a physical fitness program more than this. What's next, telling them they can't tackle a subject because they might get into a fight and get injured? Or hurt the perp and get sued? Besides, how many chases are there going to be in a month in a town of 2100? Question for the small business owners on here. If Dallas/PCSO passed this rule, would you feel your business was less protected than before? Would you consider moving to a better protected

Ouch! Didn't think about 278 being an alternate for I-20. Thanks for the heads up!

Wow! Allatoona up 10 ft in 36 hours (850 ft)
The Sound Guy replied to The Sound Guy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I googled it and found these facts: So at least we shouldn't have to worry about the dam overflowing. Still 10 ft to go to get to that point and by the time you get there, the acre-ft per inch of storage should be HUGE. Latest reading: Most recent instantaneous value: 851.49 09-22-2009 13:15 -
Was told by my son that the pumping station at Harmony Grove and Pumpkinvine had private contractors there with the doors open.

Very low pressure in Windrift off of Dabbs Bridge, might just be the water left in the lines up the hill. SG

Are their scheduled recovery days on the calendar? Will Winter break be used to recover rather than extending into the summer you think? -
SO how many people in paulding have flood insurance
The Sound Guy replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Many years ago, I was told they will not sell it to you unless you are in the government rated "flood risk" area. Maybe that has changed now. Problem is that those risk maps are in bad shape and need updating. Our old house was 3 ft or so above the 100 flood line and the Opel rains came close to making the creek reach that line. -

Dang!! Just compared the 8:15 and 9:15 readings at Allatoona Lake. Elevation of reservoir water surface above datum, feet Most recent instantaneous value: 850.71 09-22-2009 08:15 Most recent instantaneous value: 850.89 09-22-2009 09:15 Reservoir storage, thousand acre feet Most recent instantaneous value: 512 09-22-2009 08:15 Most recent instantaneous value: 514 09-22-2009 09:15 Still rising at over 2 inches / hour and 2,000 acre ft / hour. :o That is enough water to cover 2,000 acres a foot deep. Lotta water. It will slow down s -
Thanks Pubby and crew. Proud to be a supporting member of the Pcom family. SG

Ya, people were whining that Austin put that 8 million reserve buildup into the budget, it's this type of thing that it's for. Not that 8 million will be a drop in the bucket of money that it will cost us to get all these bridges and roads fixed. Hmmm... Speaking of brand new county facilities, I hope all that new dirt around the airport stayed in place. Anybody been out there? SG

I hope they are ticketing them for something! SG

Did the annex flood or just the Courthouse itself?

Once you have the emissions done, if you don't have any changes to make and if you have a credit card, you can do them on line. It's a couple of bucks more, but worth that in time and hassle. The site and code should be on your tag bill. I do almost all ours on line. They mail the tag the next day usually. (though I imagine there will be a backlog after this) At least they were on the third floor and should not have been affected by the flooding. (Unless the people designing the building were idiots and put the server room in the basement/first floor) SG
