I think everybody who plays football or other contact sports, understands the inherent risk of injury. However, the players in the NFL, have made tons of money for these owners. While the players are well paid, that money is quickly eaten up if they suffer CTE or other chronic injuries. These players are sacrificing their lives and the NFL should step up and make sure these players are taken care of in the form of lifetime health insurance and medical care, especially for the old-timers who built the league. Players like Jim McMahon are in their early 50's and suffering from dementia. It seems

Butkus and people from his era would get killed today. Tight ends today are as big as lineman from the 60's and 70's and run a 4.6 40. The players are bigger,faster and stronger. That's just a fact.

My heart breaks for the parents, but what kind of life is this for the child? I would never want to be kept alive under these circumstances and I don't think anyone would like to live like this.

To some degree, all holidays and religions too, are made up.

Why, so we increase the size of a military that already outspends the top ten countries which follow us, combined? This isn't about self-defense, it's about empire building, an excuse to create new conflicts and new ways to increase military spending. This needs to stop.

Maybe this is what needs to happen for people to open their eyes about what is going on in our country; which is, the people with the least to sacrifice are sacrificing the most.

I understand how people are outraged over this but wonder why there's no outrage over the stealing of pension funds of retired workers. Slowly but surely, federal and state government is making sure there are only rich and poor and nothing in between.

A lot of today's country is made by artists who couldn't make it in rock or pop music.
