  1. Have any of you ever gone into a quiet place and simply FORGOT to turn off your cell phone? It happens, I've done it before, but not intentionally. Jackman was being a jerk!
  2. He was a huugggeee DAWG fan as well. RIP Doc.....
  3. WTH! Paula's food and recipes may be fattening, but she's making a killing off of them. No one makes people eat this stuff. She's doing something right. Is Barbara the nutrition police? I hate the VIEW!!!
  4. Great job!! I miss my daughter's days of comp cheerleading. Woodland always had a great squad. Congrats to SPHS!
  5. I pray the Tebow is okay and I love him, he is a wonderful role model. If he just wasn't a Gator......

  8. That's what I want to know, they announced it on TV. I know I've seen Brooks Farm, but can't think of where it is......
  9. I went down Morningside earlier today and saw ALOT of people helping others. It truly gave me chills to see people helping others. Those people were hit hard. I wish I could have helped out today, but could not. I did my share of clean up in Gulfport, MS after Katrina and it was the most rewarding thing I've ever done. I'm hoping I can help out some next week. My hubby and I want to do disaster relief when we retire. Many retirees go to disaster sights and cook in those mobile kitchens. NC-17, so sorry about your disaster, take care.
  10. Just heard on WSB news/weather that Bishops Creek in Hiram is out of its banks and flooding Brooks Farm, where is this?
  11. I'm missing Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks coffee.....

  13. They were spotted at Home Depot Monday night...
  14. I want to thank ALL emergency personnel and dispatchers. I sat here and listened to the scanner till the wee hours of the morning Monday. They were amazing, using their resources and manpower to save alot of folks. They didn't have everything they needed, but they found a way to rescue these people. Thanks to Cobb County swift water rescue and Good Samaritans that offered their boats and assistance. It's amazing how people pull together in a crisis. The world is not such a bad place after all...... Oh, and I also want to thank Subby for his much needed lecture.....
  15. People are desperate to get to work because they can't afford not to work. Many people (like my husband) do not get payed and have no sick/vacation days.
  16. Subby, really, they need a lecture in the "is school closed until Monday thread."
  17. Dang!! The mods shut it down!! I had already copied it and was about to paste.
  18. Okay, I'm going to copy and paste this one in the other thread.
  19. Someone just started another water thread. Go give them a lecture......
