Our old dog Simba weighed 130 lbs. We had him put down last summer. One of the saddest days of my life. He layed on an old comforter and couldn't walk so my hubby and I just got on each side of the quilt and lifted him. It does cost more for large dogs and cremation is more expensive as well. My hubby and I drove separate and he brought Simba back home and buried him. We just couldn't afford the cremation. It was so hard, but this was the best we could do. Good luck...... Rest in Peace my big teddy bear, Simba...........

My hubby, the bread winner, was laid off last Thursday. It's a scary time for alot of families. Best of luck to you........

I tried this, but the laptop was just sleeping and wouldn't get rid of the problem. However, when you mentioned "shut down the hard drive," I completely shut the computer down and restarted it and it wiped out the problem. I feel so stupid!!! I was able to use the computer, but it was driving me crazy! Now I can get a good nights sleep. Thanks for all the advice!!

It won't let me. The error message says "You cannot close Microsoft Office Word until the send mail command is finished. Switch to the new message first, and either send or close the message." It won't let me send or close. It is click Word again it just brings up a new page. This is driving me nuts! Once I get it closed I will never do this again!!!!

I know that now, but the problems is I have a doc stuck in limbo and can't figure out how to cancel it. I cant' get word to close.

Okay, I think we're on to something. Where is the envelope icon? I'm not seeing it. I will never make the mistake of trying to SEND a Word document again!

.....or the lack there of. I believe I have this figured out but don't know what to do about it. I have a new laptop. I typed something in Word and wanted to email it. I hit send and couldn't email it because I don't have Outlook (and really don't want it). I know I need to save the doc and attach to my email in the future, but in the meantime I can't get Word to close without an error message. Any advice? Thanks in advance! I'm going crazy trying to figure this out!

Just heard on the news that the shelter would likely open in a few more days.

Prayers for you..............just know there are many people in the same position. My hubby was laid off last week and that included a company truck. We are now down to one vehicle and one job. It's really bad out there, but Obama's gonna save us all!!
