I just knew you were joking! Yep, it's about to get worse!
-
This makes me so angry! How can anyone do this to another person? To ruin a child's good name before they even have a chance to step out into the world really is low! What jerks!!!
-
I want to know what her route was. How do we find out? How do we find out if one of us was a victim of her identity theft? How many like her are Homeland Security and ICE over looking.
-
I think you have to be joking!!!
-
Very bad idea. No one should get back more than they paid in. No wonder our national debt is so huge!!
-
Churches are Tax exempt and some folks have abused the status to avoid paying any taxes. I have no desire to see an IRS agent at my door so we would never think of it. We probably pay more than we need to because we want no legal issues with them. Did you see where they went after a guy for 4 cents? Maybe you posted that story.

I am not the right person to try and make the case for Christianity here. I do believe it is the religion that most of the attacks are aimed at. I will leave the discussion to those who really know more about it than I do. I was just trying to explain the meaning of an earlier comment to momof 3.
-
OK. Can they really go about it any other way?
-
To some paranoia is another word for survival. Personally I think that the attack on religion has grown and now the attackers want to take the word, god, out of everything associated with the government whether it is words on money, engraved on buildings, a cross put up years ago as a memorial to those who died in this country's service, prayers, or bibles brought to school by children to read in their free time. The list goes on and on. How did it start in countries where Christianity was banned and churches and bibles burned? I have not been one of the folks who have been very concerned

I am all for getting a count for the Census. That is what it is supposed to be for.
-
Some feel that there has been an attack on religion for years and that it is growing. I have to agree that this is disturbing.
-
Or choose to pay the fine and not answer the questions you don't want to answer.
-
Great post from someone who gets it. I have done many of the same things but I think I could learn something new from you!
-
They will not put you in jail for failing to answer but they can fine you $100 per answer that you refuse to give. It is better to tell the truth because if you lie the fine is $500 per lie. The maximum fine is $5,000.

Well I would miss your posts if you were gone. I am sorry that you are not near your family and friends. The things that will hold Hubby and me here are our kids and grand kids. We will stay as long as they are near. Home is truly where the heart is. When I really thought about it our home has to be right here because this is where our hearts are.

That is pretty much the way my kid feels. I am nervous about what is to come too. I won't stop fighting to keep it from getting any worse though.
-
Not me! I saw more water than I wanted to see during the 500 year flood! They have hurricanes at the coast. I want to be trapped on high ground. I just haven't figured out where yet.

I never said it was a good idea or a good thing. It just is, and because we have had to deal with it, some teachers have jobs they would not have otherwise. If I had a choice in the matter all of the building would not have happened. If there are fewer students now maybe there isn't a need to try and keep all of the teachers. I have actually been thinking of getting out of Paulding too. Taxes are just getting outrageous! You do have a point though about it being a bad time to sell and I guess we may have a new class of citizens which we can call "Prisoners of Paulding". Maybe we need to
-
Actually, some of the teachers in Paulding should thank construtiontiger (if he is a builder) because without the number of kids in the system some would not have jobs here. I think good teachers are the very last thing Paulding needs to cut. They are essential to a school system.
-
Paulding's BOE has done what they wanted to, you are right about that. The voters sent those who had opponents in the last election home. The voters in the end do have a voice.
-
I don't know because I haven't received one yet. I don't expect any to be on it. I do know that there were questions on the CAS that came out last year (as a part of the census) that were not. I don't think what time you leave for work and what time you get home is part of any public record. It should not be either. That was one of the questions.
-
I believe we are looking at the proposal. I truly hope that we do not jump on board. I will be calling my government officials and speaking against it. We do not need to lose local control over our education system. It is not worth the strings that are tied to that money.
-
I have no objection to answering questions that are already on public record. I don't want to answer any that are not.
-
No organization or profession is immune to today's economic troubles. The money isn't there and the citizens don't have it either. Jesus would say get to work and be thankful for the 50% you still have. The BOE should have cut non essential programs a few years ago in preparation for the shortage we have today. I saw it coming and made adjustments to try and plan for it. If they did not see it they sure should have.
