no I think you read it wrong people got there at 11PM the night before and waited til 330PM the next day ! I didnt expect to get there and be first in line , I knew we would have to wait in line probably for a couple of hours but had no idea that people showed up the night before . LIke black friday or something . Even the hiram police we talked to said it was crazy !!

you must have gotten there really early !! I talked to the hiram police officer and he said people got there at 11pm that night and I also asked someone in line and they had been there since 8am. Glad you were in line for your grandson, unlike other people who had arm fulls of stuff .

Just wondering if anyone else went to academy sport in hiram yesterday for the braves caravan. I took our son and have to tell you , there were so many people there it was crazy. We went after school and got there about 3pm . It was to start at 3:30pm, well apparently there had been people in line since 11pm that night , that's what the hiram police officer told us . and if you didnt have an armband you couldnt get an autograph. I was so surprised at the older people all in line with armfulls of stuff to have signed while all the little kids who had come to have a ball signed stood behind a ro

Greystone was no help, the lady said it must be something in our house, I told her nothing has changed and the thermostat stays on 67 I know cause I always have to bundle up in a blanket at night . She said they could come check the meter but it nothing was wrong with it they would charge us a fee. Really ?? I'm gonna leave it up to hubby , to check and call .

Looked at our recent power bill today and it shows for for the current month is 401.00 . WE have never had a bill that high ! The most it has ever been was 250.00 . Anyone else have this happen ? What do I do ? Crazy for our bill to be that high! no one is home during the day we all work and have school and yes we turn off all the lights when we are gone and when we go to bed.

found out he is one of our techs out of another office, he survived , not sure of his condition

If anyone sees sleet or snow, please post , I work in woodstock and if it starts snowing or sleeting in dallas, i am leaving . Definatly not getting stuck again like 2 years ago, that was so scary trying to drive home .

I agree, remember when it iced up a couple years ago right at rush hour, I took me 2 hours to get home and even had to park my car at then end of our road and have my husband pick me up on the 4 wheeler because you couldnt get up braswell mtn rd.so scary

I love Nixle too, and WSB text alerts ! WE live out in Burnt hickory and have our cell phones and home phone registered so everytime there is a warning we get the automated call. It works great . And much better than a siren going off which we probably wouldnt hear inside the house .

We sat on the lower level and they never shot any t shirts our way , some even went up to the 2nd level . My 6yr old got mad too. LOL . we had a great time and loved all the trucks. I agree about the jet powered four wheelers they were so loud .

I had this happen to me last night at the walmart on 41 . I was loading my groceries in the car and an indian lady came up to me with her little boy ( he looked about 10) she couldnt speak good english so she had a made a sign that said she lost her job and needed money. She kinda scared me when she came up behind me and I felt bad cause I just bought groceries and had no extra money to give her . I watched her walk up to about 3 other people who gave her a little money. I told my husband I felt bad for her and should of given her some milk and bread but dont think I would of given her actual

Anyone know of somewhere around town ,that I can take my son to see santa ? I just saw the post about hardy chevrolet last night and so upset I missed it. I really dont want to fight the mall traffic and just want to take him somewhere close.
