My heart is heavy today. 2 wonderful American icons passed yesterday. Farrah...such a strong and vibrant woman. And Michael, such an awesome artist. When I was a little girl, my aunt and uncle took me and my sister to see the last Jackson 5 Victory tour concert...what a treat it was and I will always remember it. May both of these people rest in peace, you will be missed. :(

Alden came running up to me yesterday screaming "tomorrrow is Transformers!!!" LOL Can't go during the week, but we'll probably go Saturday or Sunday afternoon to see it. We can't wait!!!!

The girls's dad took Ash for her 16th birthday. I was a wreck. I knew the day she was going plus she called me right before getting into the plane...That was a LOOOOOONG hour waiting for that call when she was safe and sound on the ground. Just let me know when! I sooo know the feeling. I was only home alone without Alden last night about 4 hours before it was time for bed....I did LOTS of laundry, cleaned up, did the dishes, took a shower and still had 2 hours.

Awww, girl I SOOO know how you feel. It's been 12 days since Kimmie's been gone and I am so ready for her to be home. Last night Alden stayed the night at Nana's and I was home alone....MISERABLE. We should go out for drinks one night while he's away and Alden's at my moms He'll be home soon. You know I'm here if you need to vent, whine or cry about it. I still cry about Kimmie being gone and will be BOOOOO HOOOOOOing when Ashlei leaves after she's here for her 2 week visit. HUGS!!!

I couldn't vote. 1. I'm not a big fan of alimony. However, if you've got a woman who marries right out of high school, puts her life into her marriage and family and throughout the marriage, doesn't gain any job skills, then yes. I feel she should get some kind of HELP while getting on her feet. But I don't think it's her husbands/exhusbands job to support her while she sits on her butt. Not once did she say it wasn't a good idea, nor did she ever say she felt it was the schools responsibility to "raise" her child. Um...I was sitting here in my office with a sweater on cuz the AC is on like 76...LOL I took it off to walk across the street for lunch and OMG!! I was blasted with this thick, humid and HOT air. Now I love me some summer temps, but this humidity is the worst. Stay cool everyone.
