surviving the economic crisis tops my list. not only did we both keep our jobs, we managed to pay off all of our credit card debt. we recovered nicely from the flood, all construction is finished and all rooms are furnished. this next year we'll focus on maintaining and getting ahead a little bit. -

waiting for it to warm up a little before we go out and pick our greens. peas soaked overnight so they're good to go.

we're doing collards and peas later tonight. but a low country boil this after noon. we usually do it on new years eve day, but had to work yesterday. i'll be running the washer like crazy at midnight. hafta get my daughter ready to get on a plane at 10:30 tomorrow morning.
