i just hafta ask, what about todays weather conditions during dismissal time was any worse then any other day when it's raining really hard? temps were not freezing. no ice anywhere. what made the roads treacherous? slush? why? how is slush worse than a heavy down pour of rain that limits visibility and pools on roadways? does anyone want school to dismiss early when it's storming out?

my husband just went to walmart for bird food. apparently, if the ground is covered in snow, birds starve.
