what i heard was that a son called in and said his 56 yr old father was going to commit suicide with a gun. the second call they got was from the sons wife and she said shots were fired.I heard they were staging around the house,then heard swat and they went to a private channel. so very sad whatever happened.

lI too have the kindle fire hd 8.9. I bought mine at best buy. They didnt tell me about the special offers. I put up with the ads for a few days, but my kindle didnt feel like it was mine, I felt like I was borrowing someone elses. I looked on amazon and they wanted $15 to take it off.I emailed them and told them Best Buy never told me about the additional $15 so they took it off for me without charging me. Other than that I like the new HD.

i love my kindle fire, i use it for everything. I pay bills do my banking and I havent bought a paperback in over a yr and I havent bought a kindle book yet, and I have about 300 books on it. my grandkids play games on it too. I do plan on buying the HD very soon tho.-
