This is my favorite grocery store (ok it"s the closest). I never walk through the parking lot without first grabbing a grocery cart. I figure they would hit me without a care, but put a grocery cart out there, they may hurt their car! I just don't know why Dallas PD doesn't show a higher presence. Especially in front Little Ceasers! It's a FIRE LINE!!!! Don't just sit there you BoneHeads!!

It would also be advisable for the child to not have her hand holding a wad of bills (yes, I know they are not supposed to collect money until delivery) for anyone to see. In hindsight, I should have said something. Just caught off guard.

My daughter decided to click on a link "from your friends at Facebook." It installed the worst trojan virus I have ever seen. All the fonts are now jibberish. My wife's attempts to run a virus scan have been unsuccessful. She had to have her laptop next to the machine to try to figure out where to click on the corrupted machine. Have I mentioned I hate Facebook?? My wife asks me, "Why don't you set up an account?" No thanks. She and my daughter have been hit with so many viruses, it's not even funny.

Seems a little early to be selling Girl Scout cookies. By the way, it is recommended a parent be close by rather than having your two young children walking the neighborhood going door-to-door, don't you think?

Look what I found - A Drug Enforcement Administration agent who stars in a popular online video that shows him shooting himself in the foot during a weapons demonstration for Florida children is suing over the tape's release, claiming that his career has been crippled and he's become a laughingstock due to the embarrassing clip's distribution. Lee Paige, 45, blames the video's release on DEA officials in an April 7 federal lawsuit filed against the U.S. government. A copy of the pro se complaint by Paige, a DEA agent since 1990, can be found below. According to the lawsuit, Paige was makin -
Early morning stabbing reported in Hiram

This should be a reminder to us all. With the cold weather, it's not a good idea to warm up that car in the driveway without being in it. Usually, someone is watching our habits and will lay in wait for the opportunity to take those things that belong to us. If you plan on warming that car up in the morning, do it behind the driver's seat with the door locked. I know this victim approached the criminal to find out what was going on, but the best course of action is to make no confrontration except from a safe distance and call the police. Merely making the call will usually scare them -
I won tickets for a private live recording for Sister Hazel in Avondale Estates almost 3 years ago. The album is called "Before the Amplifiers." There were only 100 people there. They did an acoustic set. Really great!!! They even gave out free drinks!!! If you ever hear the album, that's me and my wife singing and yelling in the background. Best concert ever!!!!

Sony Classic Pictures picked it up for distribution after the Toronto Film Festival, but is delaying the release due to other films to be released before the end of the year. I propose that all of us who were extras show up when it comes to Hiram wearing our costumes (or something close to it). Wouldn't that be great!?!? We could have our own "premiere" event. Have some of those period autos show up out front. It would be a "Get Low" call out. I bet the local news would show up! Stayed tuned!!!

When we moved into our new house 16, almost 17 years ago, we were given a set of the covenants. There was no HOA to enforce them, never has been, never will be. When I tried to complain about a neighbor starting a business inside her home (a hair salon), I was told by the attorney that drew up the document that it really wasn't enforceable and frankly not worth the paper it was printed on. Go figure. Needless to say, I have to overlook the people who NEVER cut their grass, use their driveway to forever work on a green Ford pickup (he's restoring it ya know - FOREVER), and generally do

Thx for your help.

I remeber making a paper mache volcano in elementary school. The lava flow was done by putting a coke bottle in the middle with baking soda & vinegar with red food coloring for effect. It was fun to have my siblings help. We had to test it several times just to make sure it worked just right ( no internet or cable). Entertainment was cheap in those days.

????? What on earth does that mean????

I have been to several contempary services at various churches. Why does the music director think that loud makes it better?? I have been tempted to wear earplugs at many of these services and hope that someone would ask me why. Sometimes it can be downright painful!! JMHO

Does anyone know why Bus 6 (Merchants Drive) is closed
KEHayes622 replied to aut0's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The creek runs along Bus 6. Feeds into the area behind Bainbridge Subd. Then it snakes its way to Sara Babb park. The creek next to my house feeds into the same. Can't imagine what Sara babb Park looks like right now! -

It's farther down. Where the creek crosses the road at the bottom of the hill below Hammod Sams. I can imagine it has really cut down on his business as well as the hair salon. It will be a challange for the buses on Monday getting to those 2 subdivisions. -
There is an electronics recycling being held at the Whitewater Parking lot this Saturday (9/26). I think it is sponsored by Channel 11??

I had my replaced last year. Platform no longer required on newer HWH. A pressure tank is required. It's about the size of a basketball and is attached to one of the water lines. Can't remember which one. The newer ones have some kind of safety device that older ones do not.

I went 278 to Richard Sailors at 5:30 this morning and had no problem. I got to downtown Atlanta at 6:10. I just have a hard time imagining what it will be like this afternoon. Maybe go I-75 north to southloop??

All state highways over Chattahoochee River closed
KEHayes622 replied to afriendlygeek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
11:53 a.m. Georgia Department of Transportation says earlier Fulton County report that state highways are closed over Chattahoochee River is untrue. Only I-285 over Chattahoochee is shut down. More here: http://www.ajc.com/news/minute-by-minute-updates-143387.html -
Well, the small creek that bisects my yard is a small river. The city drainage from the street washed over and took out part of my yard. Think they'll fix it??? My bridge over the creek is still intact. If it goes, my whole backyard will go too. The creek gets off the runoff from the Kroger S/C on 278 @ 61. OK, enough the drought is over. Hoping the best for all others who do not have it so good.

State probation - depends on what county where they live. Federal probation - call the main office in the district where the person lives and they will put you in contact with the probation officer.

Did you get the video glitch in the first fight where it kept repeating??? Finally had to stop watching. Watching it now.

Even before the clunker program went into effect, did anyone else notice how low the inventory at most new car lots???? Now most new car lots are even lower, and they don't seem to be getter more in anytime soon. I just love hearing how the economy is getting better. If that were true, the market would be taking off, but it isn't. Glad I have a job.
