  1. Please check the following website before indulging in your passion. I would hate to see someone posting that they tried a particular place & got violently ill. http://www.nwgapublichealth.org/env/paulding/index.htm
  2. OMG PEOPLE! Do you think the Soviets would have given up if the US hadn't made it there first???? GET A GRIP!!!! Neil did it first and the others who made it, did it for you & me!!! I met Fred Haise last month and what a story!! The astronauts were real heroes and pioneers. We need to look at the moon again, if nothing else but to have a monitoring station to keep the monster asteroid from killing us all.
  3. Me, but I don't have a restaraunt!
  4. I killed a thread, I killed a thread!!! Yeah me!!!!
  5. Although I am usually accused of being in the gutter, I'll gladly join you in the ditch! We can compare bruises!!! I'll bring a cold one or two and we can toast the great socialist society our administration is moving toward!!!!
  6. I travel and have to take the government carrier for the route. My experience has been that they are about the same. I have had good and bad experiences with both. I say roll the dice and hope for the best.
  7. Best get back ever - Take a rubber band or twist tie and put it on the kitchen sink sprayer. Point it in the direction of the intended party. When they go to wash hands or rinse something in sink Kersplash!!!
  8. The link is now dead!!!!! I hope it comes back soon!
  9. My DD214 doesn't show where I was stationed, just dates of service, MOS, awards and such as that. No locations.

  11. Could be the supply lines. As they age, they can hold water and get the smell. Also if your machine is not draining fully the water can have the mildew smell.
  12. Although they are not 5 gallons, kitty litter comes in buckets with lids (watertight). I use one with my boat. I have several if you would like. Let me know & I can gather them together for pick-up.
  13. They left the airport alone in Yorkville when they found it was too far from the tunnels.
  14. The actual name is blister beetle. If your cat gets hold of it and eats it, it will make the cat violently ill. The "stink" is an extreme irritant. Keep pets away from them.
  15. I had a problem with my "Dish" network and they had a tech out the next day!!!! On a Sunday - WOW!!! The problem was a tree had grown to the point it was blocking the 2nd satellite signal. Came out and moved the dish - no charge!!!! I'm sticking with Dish.
  16. We used Jeff and Danny to our tires and brakes and couldn't be happier!!!! We saved at least $200 on our 4 tires and brakes all around. I have been skeptical of on-line ads, but they are honest and honorable men. Give them your business and you won't be disappointed. Thanks guys and keep the faith!!!
  17. I don't post here often, but I am planning on being there. I've got my clothes all picked out. I have a pair of dark brown (almost black) corduroy pants (yes I spelled it correctly) off-white shirt and leather jacket. I am borrowing a fedora, so hopefully this will place me closer to the front. Look forward to meeting some people from P-com! Thanks to Pubby for posting this info, or I'll have never seen it. By the way, I have a picture of my grandfather and great grandfather in my office from that period that was taken as they were walking down Peters St. in Atlanta. The hat I'm borro
  18. One night I was listening and a deputy went 6M at Chick-Fil-A. Puzzled (the reason will become apparent), I listened more intently. A few short minutes later, the deputy came back on and said, "Change my location to McDonalds. Chick-Fil-A is closed." It was a SUNDAY!!!!! Doh!!!!! That deputy has nothing on Homer Simpson. Rather than just changing his location, he had to open his mouth and explain his confusion!!!
  19. "What made Brown succeed where hundreds of others failed was his superhuman determination, working the chitlin circuit to death, sharpening his band, and keeping an eye on new trends," Richie Unterberger wrote on Allmusic.com. A second hit, "Try Me," gave the group staying power, and from there it was hit after hit: "Think," "This Old Heart," "Bewildered," "Lost Someone," "Night Train," "Prisoner of Love." Brown eventually scored more than 50 Top 10 hits on the R&B charts. Seventeen hit No. 1. What is the most ironic thing about this is - My wife gave me a stuffed animal tod
  20. Oh, Good God!!!! James Brown is gone!!!! http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Music/12/2...rown/index.html
