Thanks! That seems to be the same number I am being pm'd from most. Does that not sound like an awfully small amount of machines when we lost half our polling places? It is almost guaranteed you will have to wait with that small of an amount.

How many machines are at each location? I can't imagine everyone has to read through all the referendums word for word and all are experiencing long wait times, so it seems like a lack of machines to get people in and out could be the problem. Does anyone know how the number of machines at a polling location is decided?

We have a Bosch, but did not pay near what is advertised on their site as the price. It is fabulous. They run sales on them a lot and with the holidays coming up you can probably snag one for a good price. ( Though I am not sure what price range you are looking to pay.)
