Deleted post....blood pressure goes up just thinking about this... We were screwed by a commerce member, possibly former commerce member. Cost us over $4K to repair and finish when we owed him $1500. Makes my blood boil everytime I see their name on here. We are not litigious people, but have all the documentation we need if we ever need to. Can't get blood from a stone though so it's not exactly worth the court filing fee just to prove you were wronged. We already know that!

As a homeowner in PC why would I want an airport so close? I grew up in Livonia, MI a nice suburb halfway between Detroit and Ann Arbor. The metro airport grew tremendously in the early 80s and by the time I left in 1990 planes were flying over our house about every 30 seconds and it seemed like we could wave to the people on them. It was not fun to be outside, you could hear them inside. I am not interested in this airport taking off...pardon the pun because I don't think the quality of my life will improve. I moved out of Atlanta and the nearer suburbs to get away from noise pollution a

A friend of mine got an 80 on the TEAS test and is wondering if that score is good enough to get into the nursing program at Kennesaw. Her grade are A-B's and she already has a bachelor's in social work. I remember reading about people applying for nursing so I said I would ask here if that score was good enough. She can take it again. Thanks!!

Linda of LindaMakesMusic on pcom is in the neighborhood right behind yours off Austin Bridge Rd. Our daughter has taken piano lessons from her for 2 years. She's great. She also does voice lessons I believe. ETA: She is also a commerce member.

I don't know the answer to that, but here's my story. I would have said my kids were not ready at 5 and 8 and then my father died suddenly. We have a small family and my dad and mom were in love with my kids and the feeling was mutual. I wasn't sure what to do either and we just played everything by ear. We did end up taking them both to the wake. It was scary at first and we kept them close. Then my son started putting llifesaver mints in the casket. Every once in awhile he'd go up there and put in a mint (Grandpa loved those). It was just the sweetest thing. My daughter stayed a lit

Love it!! We're 20 minutes from Hiram, 17 minutes from the interstate (and 5 of that is getting out of our n'hood!), 2 mins from Kroger (once we're out of the n'hood, LOL), 20 mins from Arbor Place Mall, 15 mins from the new Paulding Imaging Center, 10 mins from Publix, great schools with really committed and caring teachers, 16 minutes from Sun Valley Beach. We've lived here almost 12 years and this is home. Love our neighborhood, neighbors and this area. Welcome!

See if Frank McTyre can help you. He's on pcom and got us a good deal. He also helped us fix a mess of wiring in our basement. He's a nice, fair man.

I don't know anything about the camp, but I do know I wouldn't send my kid to a place (any place) where I wasn't comfortable. Trust your instincts.

She was also a religion teacher at St. Vincent de Paul and was a great teacher and nice lady. She was my son's prek religion teacher a couple of years ago, his first teacher ever and she was very kind to him. He learned a lot that year. RIP Mrs. Weakland.
