I guess I thought it was going to be more then what it was . To me it is a sports authority that sells hand guns. I like "Dicks Sporting goods" better, it has higher end products. Not knocking it, acadamey is a good story to have around, but I guess I was expecting more and the prices weren't as cheap as I thought they would be. They did have allstar rods though, that was cool. It was loaded up with them there rednecks... lol, me being one of them.

Hey all, I have a redneck question to ask . For any of you that were into wrestling in the late 80s and early 90s, do you know of any dvds that have all the great matches in it? I am talking about with Andre, Ted Dibiase, Ultimate warrior, Randy Savage, etc.. I just want a collection of them as my son and I were watching the Macho Man DVD and we loved it (brought back a lot of memories for me, and my son liked the wrestlers back then much more then what is presented today) There are a ton of dvds out there, but I am looking for the best one. I know there are many of individual wrestlers,

I was out riding my bike at rope mill park and heard a ton of sirens yesterday at around 1:30. Then when I left I saw that 575 was just stopped going north and everyone was out of there cars walking around 575. That was odd. Then when I got to townlake parkway to get on the interstate the cops were re-routing people off of 575 north going the opposite way on the on ramp. They seemed to be checking people there too? What was going on? I can't find anything about it.

Sometimes they can make noises that will scare the crap out of you, noises that sound horrible you think there is a monster in the back yard. Then you see it's a deer and you're like "what the hell... )

Kudzu was introduced here purposely to stop erosion from bad farming practices. The question is, were these bugs introduced purposely also, or did they hitch a ride here on a cargo ship or something?

They are little stink bugs from everything I have heard... Speaking of, does a stink bug only stink when it is defending itself? Kennesaw and Acworth have the really bad.

So... has anyone else ran into clouds of these things? I have never had so many bugs land on me at one time. It was like those guys who get into the boxes with the bees and let themselves get covered, that is how I felt at some places. These things are everywhere. At first I thought they were lady bugs, but a closer look they were something completely different. That is how they are in the Acworth area. Are they swarming in Paulding yet?

Ya...I saw something like that at the paulding waterfalls... it was some oral pleasure though... my dog went running up there and barked like a nut case, it scared the crap out of them... lol.

Yup, you haven't been able to ride bikes at Kennesaw mountain since the 80's, or was it the 90's...?

It has already been stated, Mt. Tabor Park and the Allatoona Creek corps property trails are the best. Mt. Tabor is close to 7 miles total if you ride all the loops, and allatoona is right at 6 miles. Allatoona is SCREAMING fast with not many roots, rocks, etc... Mt. Tabor is slower and a lot more twisting, has way more roots and rocks, and many areas where your handlebars will barely fit between the trees. Both are just as fun as each other, but in different ways. I'm not a big fan of the silver comet mt. bike trails because it is not a loop and the other trails beat it flat out as far as flo

Wow.... that is where I drive every day. I was surprised the teenager didn't kill himself and someone else the ways the roads were packed around the lights. He had to have gotten in the opposing lane a couple of times to get around the traffic. Way to go guys, they were on him like flies on... well you know! Why did the teen open the door going down the road, was he planning on jumping out on the pavement? I guess he knew he had no chance of getting away.

I can't believe such a fit / healthy young man passed away so quickly. For those of you who don't know him he was the main star in the starz series spartacus, he was spartacus! The show is brutal but very good. He was diagnosed with lymphoma last year and passed away yesterday. Kind of scary considering he was only 39 and was extremely fit. Enjoy every day while you have it because we can dissapear at any time.

Ya.. does anyone know what happens to the accumulation of the escrow? Does all that go to the bank? Very good question?

Hey all, I just got a 2011 Ad Velorem Tax bill. I have never gotten one before, or at least I don't remember one that I ever had to pay. It states that I owe $540.45 by november 11th. What is this bill, property tax? Is it because we recently (early this week) got forclosed on that we are getting this bill? Now that the bank owns the property will they be responsible for this bill? If anyone can enlighten me on this it would be great!! I think escrow used to pay this, is there any way to avoid paying this or will I have to pay it? Just asking is all, I have no clue, but $540 is just

Well, looks like doing this project properly will be way more expensive then I thought. I was just happy I was going to throw up some stud walls, drywall, etc.. and finish it up. Then I got to thinking about the water and now it seems like moisture and water are a huge problem with any basement. Guess moving into my mothers house is no longer an option. That is too bad. That was really going to save me a LOT of money.

What do you guys think of the companies like aquaguard who specialize in sealing basements? Do you think that would cost a lot of money? I don't want to be breathing in mold spores. Will they come and clean off the mold and seal the basement? (basement smells musky) Wonder how much that would run?

This house was built around 1980-81. I would hope it had a perimeter drain. I think the main thing about the water was that the gutters were messed up and after they got it fixed it stopped leaking in the basement. I believe that with seriously heavy rain it will leak (like the floods we had.) Thanks for the tips so far, I really appreciate it. I just planned on getting a space heater for the room in the winter. It stays cool enough in the summer down there.
