Thanks for the advice.. I didn't know real estate agents dabbled in rentals too. My mother in law is one.. guess I can ask her. My main concern about a rental is how can you be certain the land lord is not going to default on the house any time soon? That happened to our neighbor. That house was for rent and a couple of people moved in. Next thing we know they are being kicked out because the owner of the property defaulted on the loan, so the tenants were kicked out. That worries me.

I am looking to rent a home around $800.. the main thing would be to keep the kids in their school, which is Mcgarity elementary. My dog is a 30 lbs. mix that looks like a miniature golden retriever. I have never rented before so I would like to know what to look out for, what is a good deal, and what is not a good deal.. lol. I have a wife and 2 kids.. so a typical 3 bed/ 2 bath is ideal. Hello all... well our sale date is on the 7th of Decemember and BOA is dragging their feet with the loan modification (since last June, they have had all the paperwork..) We have been living in this house for 9 years now.. very sad. Anyhow.. if the sale goes through I need to know what I can do to get a roof over my families head? Can I even get a rental? Why would anyone want to go on the private land for? I hope that people will not visit the park just because of the news.. that would be a bit.. odd. Perhaps family members and what not to pay their respects the place of death.. but that is all.

I was just discussing this with a co-worker.. and he said that everything can happen very quickly. His father has diabetes and said that they can get into a confused state very fast and then slip into a coma shortly afterwards... I did not know that diabetes were that threatning.. I know many people that have it and they seem to go on with there lives just fine.. I didn't know that things could change so quickly.

That is awful... I saw them searching there this morning when I passed the park. I wonder where about the park he was found? I went there on Saturday.. not knowing any of this.. and did my usual exploration of the park.. (keeping up Compass skills) I always go off the beaten trails and what not.. That is right. The attorney said not to re-affirm the house because, as she has experienced, most people who file bankruptcy will also not be able to afford the house.. how right she was. Anyhow.. the bank will still let you make payments and stay in the house and your name is still on the title.. but you are not obligated to make the payments and if you decide to walk, (or are forced too as in my case if the modification doesn't go through in time) then they can not come after you for any money and can not garnish your wages. Well... if it doesn't work out.. which will really suck.. then at least I won't be stuck with a $100,000 loan on a $40,000 house. I have heard people just walking out and leaving the home to foreclosure because it went down in value so much... not because they couldn't pay. Those are my main stomping grounds. I always go up there to just walk around and let my dog get some exercise and I have explored all of that park throughly, including the wooded areas. I have been all over that area. Have they checked the open fields that extend far beyond the park.. Like where his truck is facing, if you keep walking up that area you get to the power lines and a big grassy open area. Then there is more wide open area seperated by a fence. That is awful... My deepest condolences for his family. I do not mean to pry but was his death of natural causes or result of an accident? Please do not get offended and there is no need to answer if offended, but I am in my early 30's and just to hear something like this makes one think twice about life...
