  1. Nice, Just got done reading the list and have no idea how the hell to get home. I work right behind Town center mall and I live in Dallas Georgia, right off of 120 near that walmart. Nice......
  2. I work just down the street from KSU, and it's BAD!! There is this nice little forest area behind our building that has a nice walkway with a creek and, well, it is no longer a creek but a nice little lake that keeps on rising. This is crazy!! Hope I can get home ok. Don't want to spend the night at work.
  3. My wife was on her way home from the worst area. She didn't know how bad it was and took my kids to the dentist. On the way home she started panicking because all the roads were closed (278, 92, macland, etc..) she was trapped. And the ones that weren't closed were flooded anyways, so she had to back track. So she called me and I had to pull out a topo map to find out what roads did not go through creeks and stayed on high ground. Finally got her home. She said it's scary out there. I am wondering if I should leave now or if I should just stay at work?? Its just continuing to rain and there d
  4. I thought that whole hail damage thing was a gimmick so that everyone could get there roof reshingled for free. Perhaps not, I will need to look into it then. Like I said, we have never noticed a leak before, even when it rained "Hard", of course not for 3 days straight like it is now.
  5. I have lived in Georgia all of 30 years. I grew up only 15 minutes in Acworth. The only time I remember so much water was when a hurricane hit here, like what, 3-5 years ago? But I have never seen it rain SO HARD for such a long time with constant thunder and lightening, never. It rains hard every once and a while for maybe 6 hours at the most, but I have never, ever seen it like this for DAYS at a time. Its just crazy. The only creek I passed on the way to work today was the creek behind Town center Mall right beside town center mall, the creek that is behind the theater back there. That "cre
  6. Well, after days of non stop raining I guess my roof finally showed us that it has leaks. It has never done thins with just normal raining, but with this crazy rain we have been having we have found 2 leaks. Anyone else have the same luck?
  7. I work right down the street from KSU. Just go down Dallas highway to barrett parkway and you will not cross any creeks or rivers. Traffic sucked of course but I got here just fine.
  8. The second and third book were awesome. Can't wait for those movies. But what was she thinking when she wrote the 4th book, was very disappointed with it at the end.
  9. Man he was an awesome fighter. I bet that you could hit him in the head with a metal baseball bat as hard as you can and he still wouldn't go down. Does anyone remember the fights he had with a guy named robins or Robinson, that was probably the best fight I had ever seen? Too bad for Gatti, he was awesome.
  10. Wow, $700 hurts, especially in this economy. I no longer drive the speed that "Everyone" else drives at since I got a ticket in North carolina. 1 cop managed to pull over 10 cars at one time all going the same speed, including me. Yup, the most I go over the speed limit is 5 now, no matter what.
  11. Well, not being rude, but there are some people that I would rather not look at while they are nude. Not going into detail, but I am sure many people will agree. I remember when I was 17 I thought it was awesome that we were going to Jamaica and that they would have nude beaches there, not for me to get naked but to "spectate." Well the 1st 5 minutes were awesome. Some young hot american girls come out there and take it all off and go running into the ocean, I will never forget that. That was about all that was great. The rest were really old, skin falling off the bone, english people
  12. I just got woken up by up, lightning about struck my head through the window, or at least it felt like it. Its raining HARD!!! but there is no wind. This is the 1st storm that has woken me up in a while though. Weather channel sais nothing except thunderstorm.
  13. Is there any way to create a petition for the city to see that we are fed up with no law enforcement in this area, its crazy, I see people going at least 90 mph every time I am on the road, and there is never a cop out in that area, ever.... I would be more then glad to sign it, as I am sure everyone else that lives on 61 would do the same. All they have to do is just set some cops out there, behind the hills, or in other inconspicuous places and pull over the people speeding. Eventually the word will get out that you can no longer go the speed of sound down 61 without having to pay a fine....
  14. Snote Jones road, the road made out of sand, over by High Shoals road??? Thats where the accident took place? I have always been scared of going up that hill for just that reason, and my fear has become reality. Like my father used to tell me, I would rather arrive some where 5 minutes late, rather than not arrive at all. They did a major study of speeding, and found, on average, speeding mixed with lane switching will typically get you to your destination only 5 minutes faster. I don't go on 61 because the only reason I used to go was to ride Snote jones road, Johnny monk road, High sh
