  1. I had a pretty good day... but I am going to bed early. I am pooped!! zzzzzzz

    Hey SG!

    How's it going?

    Hey Jabbers!

I have a cold. :( I really hardly ever get colds and it's a good thing because I am whiny, grumpy baby when I do have one.

:::in my best Joey from Friend's voice:::

    How you doin'?

  2. Hey SuperGirl!!

Want some of my strogonoff for your lunch tomorrow??

I have enough to feed 20 and it is only me eating here tonight. :glare:

Yes, I would love some. Can you put me some in the fridge and I can pick it up on my way out tomorrow morning?

  3. My baby starts PRE K 4 tomorrow as well. Which preschool are your children at? We are at FBK Dallas.

He is going to FBK as well. He is in 4M. PM me if this is your child's class. ;)

Jacob starts 3 yr old Pre-K at First Baptist tomorrow. He is in Ms. Diane and Ms. Suzette's class.

It is going to be a great year at FBK!

    Congrats to little man!!

Thanks, Jabbers! I am so proud of him. I don't have one ounce of sadness in me about him starting pre-k, not one little bit! I remember when he didn't have much of a shot at life, much less a life well lived very vividly and every accomplishment he reaches causes me to just be so happy that words can't even express how happy and proud I am. :)

  4. I am so glad you had a good time.

When Ave was describing the children's museum to me it reminded me very much of the Hands On Museum we visited about a year and a half ago in Johnson City, TN. They had a great time there and have mentioned going back, but since Johnson City is almost in Virginia.....well, that's just too far. We will have to visit the one in Chattanooga.

I've never stayed at the Choo-Choo, but I am sorry that the accomodations were crappy. I think you should send them an email and let them know how disappointed you are. Also, maybe you could go onto Hotels.com (or a chattanooga website) and give a review.

  5. I know I am a fool for the short, skinny Tennesseean; but I digress. <_<

It was hands down the BEST ever concert for me.

My favorite song he sang was "Anything But Mine" because of the audience participation.

The Kid Rock song kind of put me over the top for thinking it was "the best".

Who else thinks he puts on the best concert?

  6. Spiced pork chops baked with apples and acorn squash. Brussels sprouts as a side.

Had I not put the chops out to thaw this morning I would probably not be cooking because my mom brought burgers over from Wendy's for the kids. Oh well, I am sure it will make for an excellent lunch tomorrow and leftovers tomorrow night as well.

What can I say? I really like movies.

  8. Mine are hazel. Some days they appear green and some days they just look brown. Truth be told, there is no green in my eyes....just brown and blue. They are brown around the pupil and a beautiful blue around the edges. (my mom has brown eyes and my dad has blue eyes).

My 3 children all have different color eyes. My oldest has eyes that are blue, blue, blue. My middle child has brown eyes, they never change and are always brown. My youngest has hazel eyes like me; his left eye has more brown than his right eye; but just like mine: his eyes are brown and blue.

  9. One change would create a whole different world. it would effect so much more than ONE thing. I would love to change one and only one without effecting anything else but we cant, its just a dream and we cant live in the past... Thats why today is a GIFT thats why its called the Present. Anyhow your favorite college team rules. I just love orange.

    I love orange too! :D

  10. :(

Hugs to you all. Saw her and Ellen today. Was just so hard. :(

Thank you. I haven't ever seen NHG hurt so bad, ever. She lost 2 great-grandmothers 2 days apart in June....even that doesn't come close to the way her heart is broken now. I know that grief is something we all have to make our own way through. Even though I know that; it hurts so much to see her with a broken heart. She asked me on Saturday when the tears would stop and all I could tell her is that time would help; but there is no end to tears.
