  1. Thats my big issue. I don't mind the extra 15 minutes but dang....if Pre-K doesn't extend their day by 15 minutes I'll have 2 kids getting out of 2 different schools, about 15 minutes from each other.... at the same time. And no the bus isn't an option. It'd get to our house before I could make it there or not in enough time to get my kid from pre-k. I'll be so glad when I can get out of this state.
  2. Score. I so won't have time to brake for animals as I speed from one school over to pre-k to get my kid and no riding the bus isn't an option. They decided to change that schedule soon after school started and now it drops off in my neighborhood at the same time I need to get my kid from pre-k. Stupid paulding county school system.
  3. omg well my boys better not dare to wear that stuff lol I'm ashamed to say lol
  4. Is black eyeliner, red lipstick, hair dye and tight black spandex everything the new norm for 11 year old girls? Thank god I have boys.
  5. Rubbing alcohol or hairspray gets ink out of just about anything.....might work for a dryer
  6. you Brandi! You did a great thing for your daddy. He didn't want to die in a hospital and you made sure that he didn't. Not many could be as brave as you or as caring. My thoughts are with you & your family as you go through this difficult time
  7. says the one who sits safely behind a computer screen accusing me of things and gossiping about me to her group of old crows only to find out she wrongly believed some gossip she heard. nice!
  8. I'm a bit confused, I haven't seen any gossip or rumor being discussed as far as this case goes. From what I've seen people were wondering the extent of the drug bust. I must say that I find the irony funny, people complaining about gossip yet they are the ones most guilty of doing it to others. Good job! I feel bad for the kids just as I would feel bad for the children of ANY person involved in drugs or other illegal activities. Kids should never have to suffer in life.
  9. Ha! If she lost 47 lbs by pooping she really must've been full of sheeze.
  10. For the record its not so much the sperm that decides but the conditions in the vajayjay. I know its a disappointment in a way but think of all the people out there who would give ANYTHING to be able to have a child of ANY sex. Boys may not be as fun in the sense that you can't dress them up all ultra cute & frilly but boys will always be "mama's boys"
  11. I need to find me a good chiropractor....back/hips have been killing me ugh
  12. I don't like going to the movies mostly due to cost but I'd love to see it when it comes out on DVD
  13. I ended up taking him....thanks for all the input guys The Pre-K is about as clean as any other Pre-K I've ever been too, maybe a tad cleaner. They have the usual germ stuff (pink eye, strep etc) but no worse than other Pre-K's I guess. My lil guy never wants to leave mommy to go to school so that was his usual complaint when we got there. I showed them his ouchie and asked them to call if he should act out of his normal self. Asked them to keep an eye on him if he hits his head or anything like that but of course with 2 of them and something like 18 kids that won't be an easy task. I fel
  14. Hey lady! My gut says buy the kid a helmet and never let him go more than an inch away from me ever again
  15. From what I understand it'd be added pain (from an injection?) and take longer for the meds to numb anything than it would take for them to pop the staples in. I think you are right though, I'm more upset for him than he is. I guess I'll take him in and just have them call if anything happens.
  16. Heck I can't be in the room when they take em out....I'll freak
  17. They said 7-10 days, he got them at about 8:15pm Saturday night Awe they didn't It broke my heart to hear him scream while getting stapled. Heck it broke my heart knowing he'd need them. I gave him tylenol Saturday night and then yesterday morning but haven't given him any since. I'm not sure if it was the Tylenol or what but he was off the wall yesterday....all hyper x 100 but he was like that the whole time at the ER
  18. Just wondering what other mamas would do......Saturday night I spent the night in the ER with him (he's 4) and left with him getting 3 staples on the back of his head (another kid shoved him, he fell into the corner of the wall and split his head open)......the DR or maybe Nurse at the ER said he should be OK to go back to school today but then Saturday night he yelled out all night and barely slept. Last night he seemed to have slept OK but he's still complaining of his head hurting. Oh gosh and I guess I'm worried about anything (germs, him getting hit in the head etc) that might happen at P
  19. Porkchops, mac & cheese, mashed taters, corn and stuffing.....the wee one and I baked some chocolate chip cookies for dessert
