These companies are saying all sensitive info is secure, that it was just the email address and names that were stolen. As a general rule of thumb, I don't ever open up emails from companies I have any type of account with. I always directly log into their site.

I wonder why if Chemistry is on the TEAS they don't make it a required class....or do colleges not even offer chemistry?

Home Depot (credit account) too had their emails jacked

Yup Kroger wasn't the only one. I just got an email from Benefit (Cosmetics) about the same thing.

Oh! I'm glad I saw this post. I don't need to smack my kid with a book (currently) but I do need to find a book......The Prince & The Pauper by Mark Twain......the cheaper the better. I didn't ever take the typical science classes in high school. I was always taking various advanced classes heck when I was bored I'd spend time reading my moms medical dictionary. I'll never forget the first time I saw penis cancer I'm not sure whats going on with the 5 week summer quarter so maybe if I can't take any classes I'll start studying up ahead of time Ohh! You are my hero! Good job!!! :yahoo: Mine is a 4.0 so far but I still have a ways to go. I'm hoping to hold tight to it for as long as possible. Your 3.9 gives me hope! Any advice for future A&P classes

My friends said a lot of chemistry. I think through Chatt Tech you need to score a 86 or higher to get in though I may be mistaken. It's higher than the national average.

Thanks so much, you are wonderful Odd twist of fate but they called back and "Drsmileybugs" has an opening at 4 (the 1:30 was with DR Pace fitting me in) except the bad thing is I already made plans with my kids and relatives for the 1:30 appointment. Love "drsmileybugs" she is a wonderful dentist. I've already had my one crown come loose once. It was maybe 2 or 3 years after I had it done. Not sure why that happened. I had it done at a different dentist though, one in Bremen.

Thanks! Thats useful info to have. We have great credit. Not perfect but not bad. Guess I will have to take it one step at a time and see what goes on today. I can't wait until I'm out of school and working. It's not easy to plan around life on a single income. Our bills are paid etc but every time I think there is extra $$ for me to get some dental work done, something always pops up. My motto is not to plan ahead in life because then life tells you what it has planned for you haha

Awe I hate that I missed it. I too had thought it would be canceled and then I went and broke my tooth so I really wasn't in the mood for anything.

Thanks I'm such a big baby. I've never had a tooth pulled before, at least not while I was awake. I've had my wisdom teeth out, a root canal & crown, a few fillings.....but this is new and scary. I'm hoping they can pull it. I don't think a root canal and crown are in the budget. The last time I had one it was well over $1,000 maybe more like $1,600 ? but I have no dental insurance. Oh and it was the original tooth. It had been filled so many times so its pretty much a giant filling with a little bit of tooth. I broke off a corner and part of the back. It was bound to happen. So I broke my stupid tooth on Saturday and I need to be seen. My current dentist may or may not be able to fit me in today. Anyone know of any places that accept walk ins or anything?

I heard this a month or so ago and asked Kim. Only PB Ritch is mentioned as closing and that can be found on the BOE site. There is always some rumor about various schools closing but as of now the official word is PB Ritch and not until I believe 2013. I don't think it is based on test scores etc but the age of the building, the cost of the upkeep and the amount of students it serves.

Thats what I thought I had heard...which I didn't really agree with. I think its dangerous for them to be on the road and dangerous for drivers as well....on the other hand so many of them will run you over so not having them on the sidewalks also makes sense.

I thought bikes couldn't go on sidewalks? Sure would be nice is sidewalks were more common especially around schools and parks.

Ahhhh! I grew up thinking that lice only happened to dirty people, then heard or read that lice prefer clean hair......then yet again read it doesn't matter Seems like no matter what you are stuck. Everyone had said Tea Tree oil works. I've never had lice nor have my kids but I'm terrified at the mention of it!
