I've started a couple of threads today just to have something different on the front page. They weren't very exciting either, but hey, I tried. We just finished eating dinner and I am throwing in my one load of laundry for the day now. Yep.. The life of a rockstar baby!

Tonight is leftover night. They can choose from sketti, chicken pot pie, or chuck roast. Or they can have something simple like a hot dog or grilled cheese. I am just no cooking anything else until the leftovers are gone.

Walking (as discussed in the Jennifer Hudson thread ). I am going to clean no matter what time of year or the weather outside. I cannot stand to let the house get crazy. I also seem to do more cooking. I always want something warm, like soup, or sweet treats (yep....really bad time of the year to give up walking). Hmmmm.... yep. I think walking is about it. Except my dinner group doesn't meet too often either, because we like to sit outside on the patio so we can get a little loud with laughter. Can't really do that inside.

9 miles is a lot actually. From where it happened, draw a 9 mile circle around it, and there is a LOT of ground to cover. Doesn't seem like a lot to you and I normally, but searching for a body, that is a lot of ground to cover.

I have to agree, totally! Wonder if she had some plastic surgery after all that weight loss though? I know I need some now. Just a little lipo and a tummy tuck and I'd be good to go.

I have hundreds of pictures on FB just for the reason you are stating. It is so simple, and EVERYONE who would want to see them, is there. It has been GREAT being able to share pics of my family, with my extended family and friends all over the country at one time. The flashing speed limit sign going into downtown Dallas from 61N? The speed limit sign says 45 with flashing lights. It also flashes YOUR speed as your entering into the area. Problem is.... the speed limit through there is 35!! There is a regular speed limit sign posted immediately after their sign. I think this could cause some trouble.

And sometimes LEO really ARE on their way to a call, but may not be one that requires the lights and sirens. Without knowledge of where he was going or why, I don't assume anything.

You have NO idea how close to home that statement is hitting me. I know 2 people who have teens fighting for their lives right now. It is so terribly sad. One was JUST diagnosed the week of Christmas with a large tumor on his brain. They did surgery immediately, and started treatments this past weekend. We are so blessed!

HERE! Time to resume our regularly scheduled programming. I LOVED having two 3 day weekends in a row! They were both very busy but absolutely wonderful. :yahoo:

Oh, and I forgot to mention that it started off with a 3 day weekend!! In fact, I had 2 in a row. I usually work 6 days a week, so I am used to only having one day off a week. It was GREAT!

have been perfect!! First I rang in the new year with some amazing people New Year's Eve.I would post pics but would be killed. Yesterday I had a very productive day and got most of the Christmas stuff down and boxed up. Today, I spent most of the day cooking. Then all the kids were home, and they had friends and cousins over. My house was full of teenagers, just the way I like it (and we are all healthy). My group that I was with last night decided to run and get some at the last minute. Or so we thought. We thought they did the drawing at 11:59. We tried to buy them at 11:20 The lady kinda laughed.

Happy New Year. I had a great time bringing it in last night. Night ended about 4am. Wondering WHY I was up at 8am! I have some pics I would LOVE to post on here, but a certain individual would NOT be happy with me. I am just waiting on the everyone to rise and shine so we can head home.
