I've noticed this happening around several intersections, that being one of them. I have also noticed that many times, it's because the first car stops 2 or 3 car lengths before the line. When they don't pull up to the line, it can't detect that someone is there to go straight. I seem to be getting stuck behind those people a LOT lately.

That was her at her birthday bash last weekend.

:rofl: :rofl: 'fraid not. I don't drink alcohol at all. I am sure the ones who know me IRL on here, are cracking up at that. Just saying that the weekend disappeared waaaay to fast, and very little accomplished. I did squeeze in a little fun with some friends though.

That's the only way I can explain all the memory lapses and loss of time from my weekend. I must have been abducted. I remember very little since yesterday morning. And nothing got done. Sundays are usually my productive days. I wrap up the laundry, do the floors, get the bathrooms cleaned, and all the other things I don't have time to do during the week. My weekend was stolen from me and I want it back. I just hope that I had a lot of fun while being held captive.

I went to Papadeaux's with some friends, including KRM, to celebrate our friend Joe's birthday. It was great. I am stuffed. I am not a seafood eater, but tried something new tonight and really like it. I had some fried alligator. I also got a bowl of lobster Bisque.

It is now a movie studio. Not sure what they are filming, but I know there are a few movies being filmed in the Atlanta area right now. I work across the street from it and it is always packed full of trailers and cars. I told my son he needs to go down and see if they need some labor workers. What a cool job that would be.

Maybe I am missing it, but where is the concert?

Really? I am not sure how it wouldn't be? Yes. The economy sucks, and it is very sad that some parents are not able to give their children Christmas. If it weren't for this program, they would be doing without Christmas. How could this possibly be a bad thing?

I would love to have seen that. I knew the cops were up and doing this very bright and early this morning. Such a great program!!! Congrats and THANK YOU to the PCSO for another successful year of "Cops for Kids."

I left the house at 6:45 this morning. I live in downtown Dallas. I saw nothing but rain. No problems.

My youngest started with all of this Wednesday afternoon. I started him on meds. Children's Mucinex and Tylenol. Seems to be working. He is starting to feel better. I am going to limit him on what he does this week to make sure he gets over it. I don't want it getting worse. From what they are saying, the strain of flu going around is hitting kids the worst.

I have been told that a man threw a book or something at the woman. It hit her in the nose and may have broken it. The blood had come from her nose.

Thanks Freebird. Chansky.... the house that was next door to my sister's burned down last year. It melted the siding off of her house in the process.

Dang. My sister used to live at 80 Lane Rd. and my son is at 75 Lane Rd. a lot. His best friends live there.

I totally agree. I listened to the scanner for a few hours myself. It was really busy, and hard to keep up with all of the calls coming in. They did a great job. As soon as the roads started getting slick late in the afternoon, I went and picked up my nephew from daycare to get him home. My sister has to drive from Atlanta and knew it would take her longer than usual. I made sure the rest of my family was inside safe and warm, and we just stayed put. I am glad I didn't need them for anything, and know the ones who did were in good hands.

Listening to the scanner and have heard all kinds of things tonight. Man laying on the side of the road with severe leg pain. Woman stranded with her 3 yo in the car. Pregnant woman stranded. Another woman is out of gas and has 3 kids with her and can't make it home. These are just a few of the calls.
