  1. Does anyone remember this from high school in the late 80's/ early 90's? I had this strange dream last night and the Purple Cow was in it. I guess I was reading it. I can't find anything about it online. Yeah, I'm weird. Oh, I went to Pebblebrook so I'm not sure it was distributed state-wide.
  2. I wonder what the wives tale was for marrying a cheating liar? not my current, wonderful husband!

  4. my feet were the same way & so are my daughters'. My mother could only buy my shoes at Brown, which is now Famous Footwear. Not too sure about sandals, we just wear flops.
  5. If you get your shirt wet while washing dishes you will marry an alcoholic.. There was some kind of spider that if they saw your teeth they would spit web out & write on them.
  6. I heard about it on fb, then had to drive that way at 8 and the wrecker was pulling the suv out of the tree. Fire, popo, rescue and ambulance was still there.
  7. Wow. I wonder if we will see them in the Busted paper? That would be AWESOME.
  8. How awesome is this? I've been to the place in Atlanta and it was so much fun.
  9. My first was the poster child for the most excellent baby evah. She slept, ate, hardly ever cried. Oh, she was the best!!! Now she's 18 and knows everything. :eyeroll: My second was a screamer. She came out screaming and didn't stop for a LONG time. I can't even remember, I've probably blocked it out. She had reflux and it just about sent me over the edge. She never slept, ate very little and was the meanest lil girl you'd ever meet. She didn't sleep through the night until she was 3 YEARS OLD. At 11 years old she eats more than a man, weighs 83lbs and is 5'4(for now). I can't keep her in
  10. Only if you can look good in it...not if it fits. BIG difference there.
  11. Yup, Adam Grizzle. I've yet to go see the new building. He has another location, the heat-treat facility on Old Cartersville road. Adam built the business from the ground up, there aren't too many self made men left in the world
  12. Now, I never saw the first one or if there is a sequel, I never saw it either. But, I was at an anniversary party recently at a home in Druid Hills where part of the movie was filmed. It was pretty interesting to see the changes the movie crew made to the house. The homeowners, David & Kim, had pictures of their house before and then after, and it still hasn't been changed back to the original, lol. The front porch looked funny when we walked up and then I stepped on it & realized it was all wood. Kim said the cast was super nice, she met all the main characters. Kim said she came hom
  13. I never saw it the first time. I guess it's a good thing she posted twice.
  14. You are never too new to ask for help, thoughts or prayers. I will keep you & your dad in my thoughts.
  15. I saw it on your fb!! I love it! I am glad to hear that you get along or respect his wife, I'd expect nothing less from you. <3
  16. Not too many people know of the aerospace manufacturing business on Butler Industrial... I worked there for three years.. http://afog.com/ right beside Dr. Judy. I want a drive-in.
  17. If I had an overnight guest I don't just make whatever I want, I ask if they like this or that. I think it's rude to make it MY way just bc it's MY house, and also rude to say that what I cook is NOT what they would eat. There is surely some middle ground somewhere.
  18. Oh boy. I have been married twice, still on my last one, lol. I have had the most wonderful inlaws on the planet. My first set are like my other parents, I love them DEARLY. My mother-in-law presently is also wonderful and my husband's father & his wife are wonderful as well. I do believe I married "up" in both instances. I am just dumbfounded by this mil's email. I find it RUDE to point out imperfections & then send her a note about them. HORRIBLE!! Am I the only one who thinks her email is in poor taste? I would never send someone a list of things they've done wrong! If the bride
