1.

There is a thread I started where PUBBY explains that Pcom was hacked and tells what the hacker did to screw things up. I'll find it and post the link, if it will let me. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/307253-what-is-up-with-pcom/page__p__3876825__hl__hacked__fromsearch__1#entry3876825
 2. At Hubbys work, they have very rigid filters on all the computers and it's surprising what you can access and what you can't. We've tried to get on PBSKids and it was blocked, no clue why, but ANYTHING that is deemed questionable won't open.

Free speech, personal rights or not, you don't look at porn at work. The END. And you sure as shootin' don't show it to other employees. What a dumba$$.
 3.

Bottom line, this little was more than just bullied, she was assaulted, AT SCHOOL, with no punishment coming to the little hoodlums who did it. She may never be the same and someone should be held responsible. This isn't like TPing someones yard as a Halloween prank. This isn't 'boys will be boys'. They hurt this little girl, regardless of what she should've and shouldn't have had on her head and no one seems to think much about it. It's unforgivable.
 4.

But according to some people in the original topic on this, it was her and her mothers own fault because an 8 year shouldn't have hair extensions in the first place. Oh yea and boys have been pulling little girls hair forever. What a load!
 5. Many, many moons ago, the owner was trying to rent it out as an event venue and we went to look at it for my neices wedding. It was a dump, with no parking, landscaping and the inside was run down and needed repair. The owner was rude and told us he had no intention of repairing the problems. He also said that they could rent it or not and that he would get his price regardless of our opinion. Didn't work out the way he planned.
 6. People have the RIGHT to look at porn while at work? WOW, what a dumba$$!
 7.

Bless your heart, I can't and don't want to imagine.
 8.

Middleschooler was 5 days old and I was a basket case for the very same reason. I kept thinking, 'What have we done'?
 9. But it's my job a a consumer to know what I buy whether it's a car or a box of cereal and to try to put it back on the manufacturers is ridiculous. And age or the number of kids you have has no bearing on your ability or inability to read a nutritional label. A box of cornflakes, especially generic ones, is the cheapest cereal you can buy. There are no calories from fat and 3 grams of sugar per 1 cup serving, oddly that information is right on the label. Kix is another example that's a little sweeter for the kiddies and a much better CHOICE than Frosted Flakes.
 10. Another one that is way too young. RIP.
 11. The screams of a 5 year old pitching a fit in the grocery store tend to go in one ear and out the other where I'm concerned, especially being that mine never did that and knew better. There's always a compromise, don't get the worst cereal, but you can still get something they like and that isn't too bad for them. It's still up to me what I put in my cart, not General Mills or Kelloggs. I still believe that sugar is the least of our worries.
 12. Dr. James Ellsbree, Wellstar Cornerstone Family medicine on Mars Hill rd. Marietta OBGYN Affiliates, they have an office by the Avenues on 120 and one at Kennestone. I've been a patient there for 32 years, as was my sister before me and both of my daughters now.
 13. The whole idea of SS bugs me. Most people our age, we're 50 and 51, and below won't see a penny of the money that they've 'invested' their entire lives. It's wrong.
 14.

But it's our responsibility as consumers to read the label. Check the fruit juice for sugars, don't buy the Little Debbies, etc. Parents who claim not to know that kids cereals are loaded with sugar are just dumb. Manufacturers are going to do whatever they need to do to sell their product, it's up to us whether we buy and consume it or not. You can't and shouldn't blame the sugar industry for the ills of the world. The buck stops at the person looking back at you in the mirror.
 15.

The sudden and unexpected death of my sister. Now there is before Vickie died and after Vickie died. And I will tell you honestly, there is almost an entire year of my life that I simply don't recall. Of course in my head, I thought I was OK, boy was I wrong. And something even worse was the fact that Hubbys dad died 9 weeks later. So he was distraught himself and then trying to deal with me, we had a really bad year. But we survived and that shocks me when I actually think about it.
 16.

Thanks for this!! Now I'm singing all of these songs in my head to verify no Christmas theme!! :)
 17. The family at the grocery store in the second clip 'assume their choices are nutritious'? SERIOUSLY?? With Lucky Charms and Pop Tarts filling their buggy? What idiots! Practically anything in great quantities can be bad for you. But I'll take a Snicker bar or a bowl of Captain Crunch once a month over a cigarette or a bottle of scotch any day.
 18. Thank you so much for these many shout outs. I'll remember this when we need our house painted and when we redo our kitchen and floors.
 19.

OK, I missed the East Paulding Lumber supply part of the sign. I do know that since they've put lumber in the parking lot that its been a good seller. Good for them, I hope it works out.
 20. Hubby has been held over because of the weather. I wish he was coming home, but the overtime doesn't suck.
 21. I figure there a lot of way worse things for me than sugar that I don't do and I also believe that fear mongering is a much loved past time for many people.
 22.

I thought that there had to be more to this story. I've volunteered at all 3 of my kids schools in the past 27 years, played on the play ground with them during that time and at all the schools I've been to, there have never been 'restricted areas' that volunteers weren't allowed to go. This all seemed very odd to me.
 23.

That's where I was coming from. Crazy!!!!
 24. I was coming from Kroger at the Crossroads back toward Publix, and on the left side where the big weird house with lions out front has been forever, there was a sign that I swear said, 'Ace Hardware coming soon'. Did I read it wrong? Does anyone know anything about this? Is the one on East Paulding moving?
