I continually notice that all the kids can be outside for long period of time and after a good while it occurs to me that cartoons are still on!! WTH??? I've been making cookies and Chex mix for the last hour and a half and I just noticed that Bob the Builder was on. You'd think I'd realize that I don't have to watch cartoons when I'm in the house by myself!! :blink:

One reason Sears is tanking is because they turned away from their core customer, the working guy, and tried to cater to younger, hipper people. Young, hip people don't shop at Sears. Some parents are so da#m stupid!!! My four year old grandson still gets buckled in the buggy when he goes ANYWHERE with me. I tell him it's because he'll be safe and that he needs to be up high to help me shop for stuff. This child could have died and his idiot parents would have probably tried to sue Home Depot. WHO puts a baby on a buggy like that, especially when they even aren't buckled in the car seat itself. Idiots I swear!!!!!!!!

I'm in New hope and either I'm going deaf or the sound of gunfire doesn't phase me anymore. I think it must be the latter, the only time I notice it is late at night and then I note the time just in case a crime occurred. But it doesn't bother me.

We have no idea what she is, but when she first showed up and we bathed her, we thought the black smudge on her nose was just that, a smudge. Well it's apparently just her fur and she also has a pink patch on her snout too. Middleschooler sat here with me for 15 minutes watching the eagles, that in itself was cool.

Can you imagine going to a movie that you paid upwards or $10.00 to get into and even a third of the people in the theater were texting and using a cell phone? It is my business when you disturb me after I paid admission to see a movie. If you want to text and talk on the phone, don't go to the movies. The rules are spelled as plain as a shoe that cell phone use isn't allowed and yet for some reason, a select few don't think the rules apply to them? What a load. And he missed the movie....................................dumba$$.

It won't last long. When we had Directv, a bunch of kids tv channels were dropped because of this kind of issue. They were off air for about 4 days and then they reached a deal and they were right back on. These stations don't realize how money they will lose by being dropped.

We all know that there are people in movies who don't turn off the sound on their phones during a movie, at a hospital or a funeral home. I wouldn't think of taking a gun to a movie, much less shooting someone for texting, but it is annoying to hear ding, bing, tingaling, etc., during a movie, and the light from phones the size of a computer do, in fact, detract from the movie. Should the guy have killed over texting? NOPE. Should the guy have been texting in the movie theater? NOPE. It's a ridiculous situation caused by 2 ridiculous adults and one ended up dead.

No they weren't qualified for Medicaid according to the information my daughter got when she applied. I don't know what the issue is with the movie studio. It seems as though there are people who are opposed to ANY kind of development, even private companies. Then we must be missing the same thing, cause I don't get it either.

You tell me. It's a privately owned company.But practically anytime someone brings a large business into a county, they get some kind of tax break, that's not the same thing as govt dollars.
