I told Hubby from the get go that in the end they would fire the Lorre guy and get Charlie back, thats where the money is. No Charlie, no money. No Lorre, who cares. I'm waiting on that announcement.

Well......look at the bright side and be thankful he's only doing it for one kid. I hope. That could easily be 6-8 more years of school. And something sonny may not realize, is that when finally finishes school at 35, he could very well be unemployable. If a company can get a 23 year old, fresh of college, eager to work for 1/3 of the salary that big kid would want with all of his degrees, who would you hire? I hope this ends well for you!

Are you kidding? So, he wants to be a professional student instead of putting all this schooling to work, while his Dad foots the bill? Um.............I don't think so.

I think sometimes parents or whoever, foot the bill for so long they tend to forget the amount of money that is actually going out. Maybe if you put it in actual monetary terms and say, 'do you realize this', it could be a wake up call. Great post.

Me too and this is exactly why 3rd grader isn't allowed to roam the neighborhood alone or be outside without an adult out there too.

I don't blame you, but that is a slippery slope. I don't envy you that.

OH NO!!!! A plain silver anklet with tiny silver balls on it. That is so cool! I've gotten to where I tell Hubby how much I saved instead of how much I spent. And he'll keep saying, 'But how much did you spend'? And I keep saying, 'It doesn't matter, I SAAAAAVED $341.26. Thats what counts!!' Penneys is a great place to pick up great deals to.

We have a friend like that. She is the nicest person and will help anybody, is loving, etc. BUT, no matter what you say, from the tiniest thing to the hugest thing, she knows all about it, is better at it, shes done it, knows secret workings about it, blah, blah, blah. Luckily we only see each other a couple of times a year because it gets to the point where you don't want to say ANYTHING about ANYTHING. It's annoying to say the least. :lol:

Pates Appliances is good, but if it just the heating element, we fixed our ourselves for less than $50.00 and it only took about an hour.

I have had a 14k anklet for about 10 years and love it, I wear it nonstop in the summer. Last year, I snagged it on sandle strap and broke it in half and I was heartbroken. I haven't replaced it because I haven't wanted to spend the money. I decided to go with sterling silver and have been watching the sales at Kohls and Kmart. Today at Kohls, they were 60% off and with all the discounts and my coupon, I walked away with the one I wanted and have been watching, that was originally $35.00 for the super, duper deal of.... $2.02. How cool it tha
