  1. Excellent post!! :clapping: Can you even imagine seeing this horrific crime being committed and just creeping silently away and for all intents and purposes, doing nothing? How could any real man walk away from that? This evil molester should have been stopped in his tracks, 911 called, arrests made, children protected, etc. EVERYBODY dropped the ball here and little boys suffered, when it could have been stopped. It's nauseating to think that the ones who knew and let it go, could actually live with themselves. They all must be so proud! It's a da*n shame when an athletic program an
  2. I think they are, I'll see if I can find the number and I'll post it. The number is 770-505-2891. http://www.jumpits.com/mainpages/homepage.php
  3. I am so, so, so happy that you are back in the spirit!!!! When tragedy strikes around the holidays, you think that you'll never want to celebrate again. Been there, done that! It's strange how you can enjoy the holidays again even though they are different and missing people you love. It's odd how it does get better!!! (THANKFULLY)!!!
  4. Thank you! A parent always hopes that that is the case and more often than not they come through just when I think, 'Good Lord, who are these people'!! That is so true, she was definitely quirky. You're so right, I wish that blessing for everyone! Thank you and the same to you and yours!
  5. Today marked the 4th anniversary of my sisters sudden death and I have tried to not dwell on it. Neither of my girls, 26 and 24, mentioned it directly, but I got 2 dozen roses and a sweet card from my oldest and her hubby and a huge bunch of assorted flowers from my youngest and her hubby. The assorted flowers made me laugh and cry at the same time because my sister was famous for 'mixing up' meals. She would have a dinner of lasagna and then so she'd be sure she had enough food, she'd make a kilbasa(sp) or a couple of chicken legs. We still laugh about it because we'd end up with the odde
  6. Me too and it makes me sick to my stomach. Someone needs to take that belt to that him. GEEEEZ!
  7. Heaven forbid that this is true, which I doubt, but IF it is, she isn't looking for 15 minutes of fame. Shes looking for a huge payday and meal ticket for the next 18 years. And IF it is indeed true, I'm convinced that she got pregnant on purpose. I just hope that he wasn't that stupid to be caught off guard by such a gold digger. And shes not even cute!
  8. Coming from Paulding, you cross over Bankhead Hwy and at the next light, turn left into what looks like an office park. Take an immediate right, and it's in the second set of store fronts on the left. It's called Appliance Smart.
  9. 4th grader is always so polite, but at every house we took him to, as he was walking up the driveway, we'd say, 'Say THANK YOU' and he always did. I'm sure he'd have done it on his own, but a reminder can't hurt!
  10. Oh Lord.....I wish I could unread this post!!!!
  11. I know! I feel kind of bad that I thought differently!
  12. I'm still going with......'if she's 17, so am I'!! Whatever the age, NASTY!!!!!
  13. We left a big bowl of candy on the porch with the old 'please take one' sign and left for at least an hour and a half to take 4th grader trick or treating. I was CERTAIN that we would have an empty bowl and hoped that all the kids got candy. We got home and had just under a half a bowl left. I guess I expected 1 kid to take it all and it did my heart good to know that that wasn't the case!! :)
  14. What is wrong with these STUPID people? In Hollywood especially, having a 10 million dollar wedding is akin to eating a bag of potato chips!! WTH? And it's even sadder that people eat this stuff up. If no one watched their idiocy, they would finally go away like Kate and her brood!
  15. Yep, thats her! She's waaay too whiney for me!
  16. I can't stand the lady with short hair, her character anyway. She was a casting director at an agency that Hubby worked with several times in Atlanta and she left to do this show.
  17. You did dodge a bullet, but being that I wanted a 'plain old dryer', the ratings were mostly the same as long as they were a name brand. A Kenmore salesman told us years ago that there were only 3 manufacturers that made appliances and that each name brand bought from those three and added their own labels. With the front loaders having 'new technology', I guess thats where the different ratings come in.
  18. Thats what Hubby wanted to do too!! 'We could go for the gusto babe'. He was so sweet in offering, but I-T-S L-A-U-N-D-R-Y, theres no 'gusto' involved!!!
  19. .....TOTALLY ROCKS!!!! My dryer broke on Tuesday and after having repaired it several times already, we decided to bite the bullet and get a new one. But after looking at prices for a no bells and whistles model, I was on the verge of changing my mind. Hubby went by Appliance Smart on the way to work yesterday and found several and sent me back today to get one. I told the man I wanted a brand name, specific size and plain old, plain old. I got a new Maytag, 29" 7.0 capacity dryer, out the door for $299.58. It had a dent on the back panel next to the on button, but it's in a laundry c
