I just spoke to the water dept and they said that they had been working on a HUGE water main all night, it is fixed but they are having to ease the water back on because the main was so big and it is sucking all the water back toward Cedarcrest. It will take a while for the pressure to build up back to normal.

I'm off Old Cartersville rd too and no water for me either. I'm looking for the number for the water dept.

I saw adult footie pj's at Target, they are the fleece onesie type, but I don't remember what patterns there were.

OMG!!!!!! I'm so excited for you!!!!! My girls were 14 and 16 when 4th grader was born and they adored him and still do!!!!!!!! Cool man!!!!!!!!!

Me neither and I'm going shopping starting at 10 tonite. If you don't want to, fine then don't, but to call anyone pathetic because they go out, is pathetic in itself. The stores are open and just because I stay home, doesn't mean that they are going to close on holidays in the future. And another thing, depending on your job, today or tonite may be the only time you can go out and shop with family and friends. Bottom line, if you don't want to go out, it's really crappy to pass judgement on anyone else who does.

No one is 'entitled' to anything. If you don't want to shop at Target because of these hours, then don't. A lot of people would be happy just to have a job to go to on any day, including holidays.

I would think so because there is no statute of limitations on murder. But what will a few statements by the captain 30 years after the fact prove? Not much I'm afraid, there can be no proof. I'm sure the boat, dingy, her clothes, etc., are all long gone by now, so any physical evidence is all out the window. Odd case, this one.

Agreed. I always thought her death was suspicious, but it seems too convenient that after 30 years the captain decides to come clean with 'new evidence' just as he is about to release a new book. Do people not realize how transparent their motives are in cases like this? The interview that I saw him in this morning made him look like an idiot. He avoided answering questions and quite frankly, he didn't seem like he was all there. Time and money wasted just to get his name on TV in hopes of raking enough muck for someone to buy his book, when in the end it will come to nothing.

I also love the way people call tickets for violations 'money makers', the county or state wouldn't make any money if no one violated the law. Soooo, if you want to keep your money in your pocket, don't break the law by speeding, improper lane change, gore violations, etc. These are all laws to be followed, no one made them up with the express motive to make money, but, to keep us all safe on the roads. I saw this story and I couldn't even finish reading the story. When I read the words 'maggots and open would' that was it for me. Her son claimed that she had only been there a few days. What is wrong with people?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I also feel for the people who had to rescue her, can you imagine?

I am hard pressed to have ANY sympathy for anyone in this situation besides the victims, because these children were victimized more than once, by more than one person. From the guy who actually did it to the people who dropped the ball in getting it uncovered and handled. However, it's a da*n shame that Paternos 40+ year career has gone down in flames like it has.
