I love that place! I have no problem with their policy, it makes me wonder if this came to pass because of a few as opposed to the many. This may not go over very well, but so many of the young families that live in that area have a different way of raising kids than I do. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law are two such parents. Can you reason with a fit pitching 2 year old? I don't think so. Does a 2 year old deserve the same consideration as a paying adult? Not in my world. When I go out, I resent the HECK out of a crying, awful kid, but whats worse is the parent who continues to sit

Good for you, I can't handle a litter bug. Ever since 4th grader was little, if he sees paper on the sidewalk or in the mall, he'll stop, pick it up and throw it in the nearest trashcan without having to be asked and then wants to know why someone would litter. I hope he keeps it up.

4th grader has taken the EXACT same lunch to school since he was in kindergarten, peanut butter sandwich with NO jelly, chips-either Doritos or Cheetos, 2 cookies and water. He just started last year wanting to buy lunch once or twice a week and we let him. But if takes his lunch, it's always exactly the same because he won't eat anything else and as far as I'm concerned, thats between me and him. I can understand if the SCHOOL prepared lunch didn't meet standards and they had an issue with it, but not a home lunch.

Hubby and I often share an entree and then a dessert and we have plenty to eat. There is an Italian place in Kennesaw where there is even enough to bring home. What one person needs that much food? It's kind of gross.

Excellent, excellent post!!!! We have helped both of our girls more than once. If they are working and putting forth effort as opposed to laying on their behinds expecting for us to dole out cash, I have no problem with it. If they have an unexpected car problem that is going to cost $200.00 to fix and they only have $125.00 and that broken car is standing in the way of them getting to work, you bet I'll pick up the difference. I think it's a great idea. Mini cupcakes, even a regular cupcake without MOUNDS of frosting would be great. A small 4 bite cookie as opposed to a 40 bite cookie. Yea, I like the idea.

Thats the reason I won't go to a bar. I'll go to a restaurant where alcohol is served, but not a bar where smoking is allowed. I have long, thick hair and 'fixing it' is no short process. Washing, drying, rolling, etc., takes about an hour and I'll go for 3 days or so before I have to do it again. So, I don't want to fix it so I'll look OK going out, just to go straight to a smoke filled place to make it stink. If people smoke, fine, but you should be respectful of others as well. It was littering, which I hate and it was just icky! Bottom line.................WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU T

I can't remember where it is, maybe Applebees, that has 3 different desserts in shot glasses. There is a chocolate one, key lime and something else. I think it's a great idea if you eat desserts out, but we hardly ever do. The portions are SO HUGE just about everywhere you go, who can eat a dessert afterward? Heck, I'd pay the same amount for less food, the restaurant would make more money, less food would be wasted and maybe Americans wouldn't be so unhealthy.

I agree. If there was no provision in the will that the kids who owed money would have that deducted from their share, everything should be split 4 ways just like the will stated. It's odd to me that anything has been dived up before all the monies from house, truck, etc., has been collected.

I saw the coroner on TV today and discounted any info the media has 'obtained' because he said that their office has released absolutely no info about her autopsy besides that fact that is was complete and awaiting test results.
