  1. I don't have to read anywhere that he was hunting, you arm yourself, troll your neighborhood looking for trouble and end up killing a teenager. In my opinion, that is hunting. Whether you or anyone else agree with me is of no consequence to me.
  2. So, Sean Hannity is the be all end all of factual reporting? Seriously?! Because we didn't watch the 'interview' with Zimmerman, somehow we are in the dark as to the facts? I look to Sean Hannity for NOTHING except the chance to find another radio station and I don't care who's on his show, I won't be watching him anytime in the future to get information on anything.
  3. He is guilty of killing an unarmed teen, that isn't debatable, the circumstances are. Heck, in Zimmermans shoes I'd say whatever I had to to get myself out of the mess he's in too. But I don't think that he was an innocent who just happened to be jumped at random by some kid in a hoodie. He went looking for trouble.........with a loaded gun, found it and a kid with no weapon is dead. There can never be another side to the story because no one else was there and can you really believe the guy doing the hunting? I can't and if that makes me 'sad' , I guess I'll just have to own it.
  4. I can't stand Al Sharpton, but somebody needed to bring this to the forefront and if had to be him, then so be it. So, because guilt can't be proven, everybody should keep their mouth shut and look the other way? Wow, that's a new one.
  5. Thank you, because I've been told the same thing. The problem with this case is that no one will ever know all the facts because only two people were there and one of then is dead and I'm not going to believe the other.
  6. My daughters are grown and I'd chase them around with a stick if they acted like those little girls on stage do!!
  7. Well then........I guess that's the end of that. I guess everyone whoever pulls the trigger and kills an unarmed person will use that defense in the future, sounds good to me.
  8. Either Ben Franklin or Leonardo Da Vinci. Because both were inventors, I would like for them to see and be awed by things that they could never have imagined. Not a loved one, especially my sister, because that they left again would be way too painful.
  9. Why is it sad that I didn't see the interview? Talk about one sided facts. And for the record, I HAVE in fact served on two different jurys with all of the information I needed to know to make an intelligent decision. Listening to Zimmerman would in no way give anyone all the facts about anything and listening to Hannity for more than one second wouldn't help his case either. The interview wasn't jury worthy, so that I missed it has no bearing on anything.
  10. Exactly! If someone was following me, my child or grandchild around, at some point you have to wonder whats up and why they are right behind you. And one of the many unfortunate things about this case is that we will NEVER know what was actually going on, but I will never believe that Zimmerman was walking quietly behind Martin in a completely non threatening manner. The man had a gun and if Martin saw it, which we will never know, he could have felt threatened and thought he was defending himself against harm. Who wouldn't react that way? Once again, we will never know because the one packing
  11. It's right behind the old one. You go into the same parking lot and just drive around back. I'm so glad we went in May to renew ours!
  12. No, I didn't know he was going to be on and even if I had known, I don't want to hear Zimmerman try to convince everyone that he was the victim and I don't want to hear ANYTHING Hannity has to say.......E-V-E-R!
  13. I don't care who donated what to who, the police dept should NEVER be sponsored by private enterprise, the conflict of interest is WAAAY beyond glaring.
  14. Yep, noticed that too. Also, it's not the people who watch it that concern me, it's the ones who participate in it.
  15. Sean Hannity is a rabble rousing, idiot and if I were Zimmerman, I'd stay as far away from him as I could. It sickens me that Zimmerman has somehow become the victim here. I simply don't get it!
  16. OMG, I KNOW!! How could one person be in such contradiction witthemselves? Hate that banner ad!
  17. Me too, it makes me very skeptical of her story. +1000. :clapping:
  18. Hate it! I've tried 100 different kinds of yogurt, smooth, with fruit, whipped, greek, etc. and in the end it all has the same sour taste that I just can't stand. It's like drinking sour milk.
  19. You do realize that you are spinning your wheels, right? Logic and truths will never outweigh closed minded, tax haters who will never be concerned for the greater good our community, even if it is just going to cost them pennies. Hopefully there enough informed and intelligent people in Paulding than are on this site and they will see the benefits this money will bring to our county.
  20. Did you get them a room with a TV and VCR? I love the Disney room, Luke takes his borders very seriously and he loves animals. When we had Hanson put to sleep a few weeks ago, he was the one I called hysterical because I didn't know what to do. He called Dr. Leathers at New Hope Animal Hospital, set up the appt, and called me right back and offered to come and go with me. We had him cremated and Luke wants some of his ashes to put at the shop. I love Luke!
  21. Hubbys work is filling backpacks and we did two and with everything they asked for on the list, it cost us almost $40.00 just for those two. They needed some kind of special calculator and they were $15.00 each!! Needless to say, I'll be looking for the .10 cent stuff to send to our school for those kids in need.
