No kidding!! When it come to eating and not eating, most people send in whatever is needed, on time, to get what they need. Why would anyone lie about that? Sounds like a cover your a$$ answer from the caseworker to me. I absolutely agree, but there are those who are opposed to ANY kind of assistance, regardless of the circumstances.

I commend you for opening this thread considering all the outrage on here about 'entitlement attitudes', 'deadbeats on the govt take', etc. I know and realize that people do need help and I know that you do so much toward that end. It's a myth that a USPS mail carrier has the right of way to where ever they want to drive or that they have the right of way over emergency vehicles. Good question. This is the thing, I'm a really nice person, probably like most of the people on here. And while I don't agree with a lot of their opinions, I don't start out by name calling and with open hostility.
