I'm in East Paulding too and I'm about as far from a snob as they come. Has this person ever been in or seen EP? There's not a lot of reason to be snobby. Maybe they were including all the neighborhoods around Cedarcrest and assumed if you had a really nice house, you were a snob. That in itself is snobbish IMO.

OMG, I misspelled the same word last week. It was a full moon wasn't it? I think that explains it.

Was one of them with their dad too? I saw that one last week and it looked brand new.

On the website mylunchmoney.com, there is a welcome message that says that 'they are excepting payments online................'. This is a national thing, not some podunk, hometown site. Excepting, really? The word is 'accepting'. How did this get past anyone? District Bulletin Board Attention Parents: My Lunch Money Online Payment System is currently excepting payments! Please Note: If a student leaves the the Paulding County School District, please remember to turn off Smart Pay options. Balances on your student's meal account will remain with the student from year to year a

I think you should hang around with different people.

I didn't watch Private Practice until I saw it on Streampix on Comcast. I'm on season 4 and it's like a train wreck because these characters are pathetic. These are supposed to be the premier dr's in LA and they are a bunch of unhappy, whiners. And it's a train wreck because I keep watching episode after episode. Maybe that means I'm the loser! Did anyone who watched it notice that too? Has it been cancelled or are they still filming it?

That's not always true. When my aunt was dying of cancer, my sister and I were at the hospital everyday. We cooked for her family and even gave her a Christmas party in August because complete with a fully decorated house, inside and out, because she wasn't going to make thur the holidays. We were on the way to the hospital at 7:30am, she died before we arrived at Kennestone and it hit FB and dinged on my daughters phone while were on Whitlock avenue. We were close. We found out on FB. NOT OK.

Kids watch these shows too, probably without any adults around and they buy this stuff. Not cool on the part of a channel that touts their fact based programming and they do just that. If adults miss or don't read disclaimers, kids certainly miss mice print to that effect. It's stupid at best and irresponsible at worst.

I'm really confused as to why a credible, credible being the operative word here, TV station would make up and air this tripe. It's just so stupid and a waste of time and there are people that will miss the disclaimer and think it's real. WTH? It's like they are playing a huge practical joke on people. I just don't get it.

Seems like they're back peddling to me. They jumped the gun in the first place when they fired her and now they are wooing her. I wonder how much money, if any, they lost when they dumped her?

Love Jim Rockford!!!!

OMG, THANK YOU! If you don't like it, unfriend them, it's not like you have to be on FB in the first place. How petty is it to complain about your so called 'friends' on a site that you don't even have to participate in. Indeed.

Contact rockysmom, I remember she said she'd help with a washer and dryer.

Or at the stop signs on Rosemont behind Home Depot either. My daughters friend hit a cyclist that never even slowed down or looked as he flew out in front of the guys car. Luckily, he wasn't hurt too badly, just very scraped up and then he had the nerve to act a fool to the kid who hit him when it was totally his own arrogant fault.

'Very few motorists follow traffic laws'. You've got to be kidding me, what an ignorant statement. There are MILLIONS and MILLIONS and MILLIONS of drivers on the roads and in whatever world you live in 'very few of them' follow traffic laws? Unbelievable!

I got a new laptop about a month ago and it has Windows 8 which I was dreading, but thankfully, I've had no issues with it at all. I like XP, but it wasn't an option.

How a Govenment Shutdown would mean to you
dawneykids replied to mimosaflower's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm with you, these fools want to be re-elected and I'm not sure anyone, especially their constituents, are going to appreciate the government shutting down while they all pitch fits on Capital Hill. -
He was on a pedal bike, in the middle of 278 in Hiram on a Saturday morning. Not safe for anyone I'm thinkin'. Crazy I know. He was one of the weekend warriors who are are all decked out in bike clothing with a bike that has those really skinny tires, they sometimes ride in packs.

Totally agree! I've heard the argument from cyclists that they have just as much right to the road as a car, but the funny thing is, is that they demand the same rights but SOO many of them DO NOT follow the rules of the road. At lights, they scoot through the lanes of traffic, passing all the cars on either side, they shoot through intersections assuming and expecting everyone to yield to them. I had one smack into my drivers side mirror while passing between lanes in Hiram not too long ago, then he slid his hand down the remaining area of my car until he got past me and moved onto the next
