  1. OMG, that was funny and BAD, two things that often go hand and hand on SNL.
  2. One that makes me cry to the point I can't even listen to it is, Pretty Paper. It's really old and my mom loved it, so I think about her whenever I hear it. I have to change the station when it comes on.
  3. They do play it a lot on the radio, lucky for me, but that doesn't mean most people like it.
  4. SERIOUSLY!? You'd actually say this to someone? Everyone may not believe as you do and if they ask for luck, maybe you should be gracious and send that.
  5. Are you serious?!?! She was great! We had a little issue with the sellers wanting me to sign a paper and Aimee said, 'UUUMM, you can sign this, but I never, ever would'. So, she went back to the seller and said that we weren't comfortable signing this paper and in the end, we didn't. A-N-D she has big bowls filled with really good candy to help take the edge off of your nerves.
  6. Yes, only 2 miles from where we are now and we love it.
  7. We closed on our 'new' house yesterday and have been busy, busy all day making changes, cleaning, etc. But I wanted to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to a few people who made this stressful process a little less stressful. First, to Mark Willix, who in my opinion is the best real estate agent E-V-E-R. I came into this process practically clueless and he answered all my questions, always took my calls, responded quickly to emails and texts and kept me informed as to what was happening regarding offers, counter offers, etc. Thank you! Then to Caped Crusader who got us insured quickly
  8. My favorite is NEVER popular and I hate to even share.....but I LOVE Feliz Navidad, it makes me happy!!
  9. Do you need me or my girls to bring a meal or two? We'd be happy to do it.
  10. Has this info been goven to LE?
  11. More often than not if the mother has gestational diabetes, the baby is abnormally large. Maybe it's that.
  12. What I get from all of these same types of posts is that the police never shoot white people, only unarmed, underprivilaged, innocent black boys/men. Good to know.
  13. It was ruled a homocide by the ME, but according to the news report that I heard, that just means that he was kiled by another person and it doesn't have to be intentional or malicious. There was also no damage to his trachea or his Hyoid bone according to the same ME which would rule out any kind of unusual force and crushing. However, the guy is still dead for selling cigarettes and that seems so wrong on so many levels, especially with all the 'real' crime that goes on everyday in NYC.
  14. Hey, I'll take a win when and where we can get one, it's just sweeter when it's against UGA even if it is spread out over several years.
  15. I'm hardly a football fan, but with the Tech grads in my family, I have to go with them. I watched on and off yesterday until the last quarter when all the craziness started, they're ahead, we're ahead and so on. But, I'll tell you, when GA scored that last TD to gain the lead, there was chaos at our house. We almost missed the kick that ended the game because of all the wailing and gnashing of teeth. In the end they pulled it off at the last second and regardless of which team lost or won, it was a good, nail biting game. Of course it was made better by the fact that Tech won!!
  16. I wonder if you could get a whole cow at West Metro?
  17. .......best weekend E-V-E-R!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!! :yahoo: :yahoo:
  18. Nope, I didn't. It's amazing how fast you can scoop hot, soft potatoes out of the sink and then have no one be none the wiser!! Go mom!! It's not off topic at all, you have good memories and now we have another funny one! HAPPY THANKSGIVING Y'ALL!!!!!!!!!
